It was a gentle dig at your paranoia about the virus. Not meant to cause offence. Hence the "lol" at the end. I wasnt at all offended and am going to watch the vid now. I will return with cryrsts SP.

Denmark plans to cull its mink population after coronavirus mutation spreads to humans - [Link] While we always knew mutations could happen (though it's been reasonably stable so far) this one spread to mink then back to us is concerning. Our antibodies (and possibly those of vaccines) are less effective at fighting it. A worrying variety of animals can get this virus so you have to wonder with the wrong roll of the dice what we might end up dealing with next. And there's a certain irony that this is always related to the s***ty mistreatment of animals at every turn. What a year!

Starting to think more why would they end lockdown so everyone can go out Christmas shopping en masse for 3 weeks? They could just keep it going and with nearly everything closed a lot of people would shrug their shoulders and order their cr&ppy throwaway presents online or cut down to much less or nothing. Of course more furlough keeps costing money but are they just at a point where it’s so deep that more billions aren’t noticed? The real misery coming hasn’t really dawned on people.

If you can’t be bothered with the first bit, look at the last minute and tell me this country hasn’t gone mad. A registered nurse decided to take her mother out of a care home to look after her and gets arrested for a COVID related ‘crime’. I am sick to death of the uk.

I which case I question why is she in a home if her daughter tried to take her out. It's ok to get a headline but I reckon couldnt wait to stick her in there x years ago!

Because they are confined to the home, no visitors. My dad has deteriorated over the last year as he can't leave or see anyone. I'm happy about it at all

Maybe she's one of the many people who have no job to return to, since this lockdown 2 is the final straw for many small businesses. Therefore, she has the time to look after her mother for the rest of her remaining life.
