'UK can expect at least three Covid waves with lockdowns, Penny Mordaunt says'. Really how can she possibly know what the virus will do, neither can anybody else. Are they enjoying their new powers to lock-down and control the population. You bet....

Why we’re not shielding the elderly, well over 65’s, only is a mystery and shame. Could have all sorts of measures so they only get within metres of other over 65’s snd masked up staff in sparse shops. [Tweet Link]

Are those hospital admissions overall or just through Covid?

Blimey BBC. I’m shocked they’re highlighting issues with Whitty and Vallance Out of date numbers and trends to communicate their public message Clear data on who are at risk and why aren’t we shielding them Edited by Rudi Hedman (04 Nov 2020 4.45pm)

The Maybot has some uses. Boris walks out as she starts talking. Inexcusable. Edited by Rudi Hedman (04 Nov 2020 6.13pm)

Based on experience with previous viruses I expect. Does Boris look like he is enjoying this? Boy has he aged.

Here are some, the Lancet not the daily mirror I’m afraid. [Link] Edited by Mapletree (03 Nov 2020 10.54pm) Why am I not surprised that you don't understand? Around 73% of the people who died, either with, or from C-19 were highly vulnerable. Either in care homes, or hospitals, being treated for other illnesses. You had an outbreak in a home of 'yours'(don't know if you own, direct, or cook, clean). I have no idea how many staff or residents either. What I do know is that 50% of the staff at one of them tested positive for antibodies. And these staff members managed to pass the virus on to a patient who later died. What I find astonishing is that such a highly contagious and lethal virus didn't infect and kill more residents. It suggests that maybe it isn't quite as highly contagious, or deadly, as we are advised. Yes, if you do contract it, it's awful, but 50% of your staff at that home didn't die from it, most didn't realise they had anything, and only one vulnerable resident died.

I dont think I've said anything daft. All I have done is had an opinion that's different to yours. It was a gentle dig at your paranoia about the virus. Not meant to cause offence. Hence the "lol" at the end.
