Todays first download is a set by legendary guitarist Gary Moore that was recorded in Boston, Mass on the 1st September 1987. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast on WBCN-FM. This was the final show of the 1987 "Wild Frontier" World tour and it's a great set. I've posted a lot of GM stuff over the years - both solo and with Thin Lizzy - this is another top set for the collection. If you like Gary Moore - then grab this show - this is thoroughly recommended. Todays second download is a set by Blue Oyster Cult that was recorded in Santa Monica, CA on th 28th March 1986. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast on the famous King Biscuit Flower Hour radio show and sounds wicked. Only 10 tracks but they are good ones with a crackin' version of (Don't Fear) The Reaper - the bands most famous hit. I posted loads of BOC boots and albums over the years - this is another for the collection. If you like Blue Oyster Cult - then grab this one...... Todays extra download is a promo cd that was given away with the Mail On Sunday newspaper. A ten track live disc by Foreigner. I'm not sure when this was a freebie, but I don't think it was recently. If you like Foreigner though - it's not a bad cd..... give it a try!.... Todays first download is a set by Pink Floyd that was recorded in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada on the 28th June 1975. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the master dat reel mics. This is a great show which has Dave Gilmour introducing some of the songs to the audience... it's nice to hear the early versions of "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" they sound kinda raw - not the polished act that that would be their trademark in later years.. the band finish with a wicked 25 minute version of the classic "Echoes".... this is thoroughly recommended..... Todays second download is a set by the Grateful Dead that was recorded in Ventura, California on the 13th July 1985. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds wicked!. I've only recently started posted boots by the GD - and I've posted 3 or 4 now. The band have a policy of allowing fans to record their shows as long as they are for personal/free use and not being sold. This is a top set with a wicked version of Terrapin Station. If you like Grateful Dead - then grab this show.... Todays extra download is a two set acoustic show by FLYTE that was recorded at the Palomino, North Hollywood, CA on the 18th December 1982. FLYTE are made up of Chris Hillman, Gene Clark, (The Byrds) Herb Pedersen, Al Perkins and Trey Thompson. The band formed in 1982 and tried to secure a recording contract - which unfortunately failed and the band quickly dissolved. The band performed two show on this night - an early and late set... the band were opening for Emmylou Harris. There is a very slight soundboard buzz on the early set which doesnt notice when the music is playing - it has been sorted for the late set. If you like Chris Hillman, Gene Clark and the band - then grab this show... this is thoroughly recommended. Todays first download is a set by Jamiroquai that was recorded at the Phoenix Festival in Stratford-upon-Avon on the 19th July 1997. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've not posted many boots or albums by Jamiroquai - good quality boots are quite rare. This is only a short set of 8 songs but they are good ones - especially the version of "Space Cowboy". If you like Jamiroquai then grab this one - this is thoroughly recommended... This is a set recorded in Osaka, Japan on the 11th August 1993 and is in superb quality - the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. Ace plays a selection of old Kiss classics like "Gold Gin" and of course "Detroit Rock City". This is a crackin' set and if you like Kiss - and Ace Frehley, then grab this show ....
