Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

description sounds like it could be colwill. Maybe we are going for squad depth this year! We’ll be well stocked in CB. We were very lucky last year in terms of the lack of injuries to our main centre back pairing but in previous years we had them queuing up in the physio room and almost got to the stage of asking if anyone in the crowd could play in that position as we had no strength in depth. If it is Colwill will he be a purchase as I don't see much point in loaning a young player who will only be a bench warmer. If he's coming today then no doubt the club will make an announcement in a couple of weeks time

I hope so.. would love him back. I always thought there’d be some traction here as Parish did actually talk about a few months back in relation to trying to get Gallagher back to the club. A permanent would be good if the fee was right.. he can’t be relied on for the whole season and he’s a proper sick note. I remember when he was with us first time round, i think it was someone in our coaching staff who said he has back issues which have to be managed to allow him to play. Great player though and would love to see what Pat can do with him. With a World Cup coming up that’s got to be in RLCs thoughts.. look what we did for Connor.

Not happening, as Dazza hasn't predicted it.

To play where though? Eze is our starting #10. Doucoure is basically nailed on. Therefore it leaves Macca, Hughes, Schlupp, Luka and Jairo battling it out for one other spot. Would we really add RLC into the mix too...when striker is in so much more need of attention?

Schlupp will be used more as a front player/sub now maybe even a wing back if we switch to 3 across the back as some think we will. Hughes will also be benched and Jairo will also be on the bench if that. RLC would be a good addition as has been said given its a world cup year. Him, Doucoure and Eze in midfield will be sweet. There are also 5 subs this season so players and tactics/formation will be adjusted more during games. In terms of front players I would like to see Mateta and Edouade given more time. We always seem to write young players off far too soon.
