As an aside, Kushner's mill stone building in New York - 666 5th Avenue - which he bought for about 2x its value in 2007, is leveraged up to its eyeballs (if a building can have eyeballs). Late in 2016, Kushner took out a mortgage on the building for 1.2 billion and had to personally guarantee the loan (incredibly, something he forgot when filling out his security clearance form just a month or two later). Guess which bank holds that note... Meanwhile, that loan is deep underwater and the building - with a 30% occupancy rate - is losing 24 million a year. The entire 1.2 billion loan is due for repayment in Feb 2019. No one wants anywhere near the building with a barge pole, and Kushner's co-owner in the building says it would be worth more if it was just dirt. Edited by Ray in Houston (05 Dec 2017 6.06pm) Yes, Mueller is a safe and fair pair of hands. He knows how to do his job, what to look for and is leaving no stone unturned.

Paul Manafort's efforts to get his travel restrictions loosened have likely gone in the opposite direction. In a comical development he is assessed to have breached agreed bail conditions by helping to ghost write a positive op-ed piece about himself with a Russia based individual with links to their Intelligence Services. He did this while under house arrest. But still.... no collusion!!

I tend to speak to people in their own language. And for anyone interested, I have never in my entire life used the phrase 'words are violence' nor argued that they are because it's not a position I hold or have ever held. Feel free to spend your day checking up on that should you wish to. Anyway, back on topic. Petty disagreements are not entertaining for others and are self indulgent from your direction and mine.
I'll accept that....so many pages on that thread....poor memory...apologies. Edited by Stirlingsays (05 Dec 2017 7.12pm)

Think that was probably me, stirling, referencing Rwanda as as example and extreme verbal bullying which could lead to breakdowns or direct and meant threats to kill a la the bad old days in Northern Ireland. It most probably was. Words aren't violence but they can direct it of course they can. That's why the law has covered this area for centuries. It wasn't really what the topic was on though.....it was about offence being violence against the person....but lets not waffle on about that one.
