Sky Bet has suspended bets on Cabaye signing for Crystal Palace after a flurry of large bets on odds as short as 1/10.
Update Sky Sources are telling us that France international Yohan Cabaye is on the verge of joining Crystal Palace from PSG. So exciting!! Edited by NonSlipMatt (08 Jul 2015 12.41pm) bollocks! I was about to do this on my lunch break

i feel should we sign Yohan it will be like a magnet for other top player to come to us. teams here and in italy,Spain and France etc will want to come and play for us. i put this signing up there if it comes of with the great Attilio Lombardo. Cabaye was brilliant for Newcastle, easily there best player in his time there and a fantastic dead ball specialist.

West Ham are trying to hijack the deal.

Paying for Cabaye Sell - Guediora (£2m), Bannan (£2m), Williams (very sadly)(£2m) Clyne Sell On Fee - (£2.5m) CPFC 10 - (£1.5m rising to £4.5m) Wages From three player sales - £50k pw released CPFC 10 - £50k pw. So for a potential net outlay of up to £4.5m in transfer fees (assuming all three above are sold) and £50k pw in wages extra (£100k pw) - we get a quality player. Just my thoughts.
Thing is though Kerms if we go down its hardly likely we wont shift Cabaye in the transfer market sharpish with a good sell on - he's no Andy Dorman or Owen Garvan

We would still get near £10M for him, 30 or not Kerms.
