I'd just like to add on the off chance steve parish sees this my points;

1) steve coppell doesn't strike me with confidence in being a dependable manager but he's a legend, so to some capacity if the rumours are true I'd welcome him back, maybe assistant to dougie if dougie looks gd this month? maybe that would suit sir steve as well?

2) fitness, fitness, fitness, Dowie worked magic through focusing on fitness, mick jones and neil warnock worked wonders on this (and sadly still are as we found out), see also arsenal and man utd famous for late winners.
fitness 1st, talent and tactics will come in time, I hope the new manager you choose has this deep rooted in his philosophy.

3) I've no doubt you agree with me, relegation is a no no, if it happens we have to roll with the punches and get on with it but this club should be moving forward so good luck getting a visionary, that respects our youth philosophy and is a motivator, can work to a budget and isn't expensive himself
rather you than me but we believe in you, good luck ;-)

p.s. its about the team in management as well, warnock has a gd team around him to cover all the above

I have just been watching Final Score on the BBC and our lady at the ground has said that Chris Houghton is at the game today.

Steve, you did say earlier in this thread that it was just "pure coinsidence" that Houghton was at the Millwall game, is it less of a coinsidence that he is now at Selhurst??

Hi Steve,

before you rush into a decision with Hughton or Coppell coming back. Please consider approaching Paul Tisdale, Eddie Howe, Sean O'Driscoll & Ray Wilkins.

Also would love to see Jose Fonte, Le Fondre, Rhodes, Boyd or Austin signed !

Thanks for reading.

Crumbs, 67 pages.

Can anyone give me a few lines of summary?! I'd really appreciate it.

WORRIED that your teeth will be stained after a heavy night drinking red wine? Fear not; drink a bottle of white wine before going to bed, to remove the stains.

Steve..

By you already saying that you'd consider Dougie as Palace boss permanently, does this mean that he and Burley have different methods and styles?

by the look of dougies line up today. i would say yes, they both have different opinions, styles & methods.

Steve, thanks a lot for keeping us fans informed of the latest developments. I for one must admit that I am a little concerned about the future, solely because Burley was creating a footballing philosophy I agreed with yet it was starting to get to a stage where results had to improve!

I know you've said you want to get the right manager rather than a 'manager right now' but are you a little concerned that too much time looking for the right manager may damage any player recruitment plans we have? Will you be asking candidates as to which players they want? Will the Plymouth left-back still be signing (I rate him)?

Cheers steve, keep up the hard work!

you rate him so much you don't know his name?!

Could be an expensive bill, I reckon there's about 20,000 others in the same position
