I would highlight not Biden’s stumbling words but the truth that lies behind them and compare them with the lies that Trump said in response. Stumblingly expressed truths are still truths. Confidently expressed lies are still lies. Is delivery more important than accuracy? Is appearance more important than substance? Do reality TV stars make better Presidents than professional politicians? Do Ukrainian stand up comedians make better Presidents than professional politicians?

The US left complaining about edited clips of Biden has some limited truth to it. I have seen dishonest edits of Biden. There are dishonest grifters on the right who are happy to do that and it's annoying. However, they themselves are lying when they try to imply that this is anything like the majority....A lot of it is just showing Biden failing to do his job due to his cognitive decline.....something they have covered and lied about for years. Also a telling point is that this is projection. They did the same during and after Trump's presidency.....so to complain about the same thing being done to Biden is the richest double standard. But to repeat the oft quoted refrain, if the left didn't have double standards, they wouldn't have any standards at all. Edited by Stirlingsays (30 Jun 2024 11.57am)

Now he seems to be quite stubborn and unrealistic, asking for things his military no doubt tell him they need but it’s unwise to supply. I realise part of his presentation is to maintain morale but I do hope that diplomacy is hard at work behind the scenes trying to find a workable solution, but I am not confident that he has the capacity to think like that.

TDS is back in full swing this morning as the Supreme Court again rules in Trumps favour. Left media don’t like the ruling so it’s wrong and they know better!! When he’s found guilty there’s street parties in celebration! Democrats got it all wrong by spending all there term on bringing down Trump and forgot they were elected to move the country and its citizens to a better place!! Failed miserably on both counts! !

The perception of the US Supreme Court must be that political decisions are being made, how could it be otherwise when judicial appointments are made by the President. Trump does think he is above the law, and this only confirms it. It's pay-back time, and there is everything to see here.
