As for the skilled Europeans leaving, well we can always start training some of our own school leavers a bit earlier, rather than demanding that they obtain at least a BA in Zen colouring.

Sensible answers but.....It won't make difference to them. These are just side line excuses for them. I don't believe they really voted remain for these reasons.

Makes you wonder why so much time was spent by Leave reassuring everyone that trade and the future economy would be absolutely fine, spiffing, if not even better once we Brexit'ed. But you are correct. It was about the...er..non-EU immigrant, mainly muslims and Africans. Just no one had the balls to say it apart from one man in the street being interviewed. Funny thing is , of course, is that migrant workforce gaps will be filled by having more non-EU migrants. See that 145,000 of them last year? Watch that swell to over 200,000 in 2020. During the campaign...the threats of economic downfall were non stop.....it was pretty much wall to wall from the 'remain' side....even had that toilet paper leafet come through my door. The remainers were constantly moaning about 'leave lies'. The public voted out anyway. I suspect the number who voted leave because of inflated figures on how much could go to the NHS were more than drowned out by people who would have voted leave but were scared into voting stay because of 'remain' lies......also a campaign that had little to do with ethics or honesty. I've answered you point about skilled workers many times in the past Nick.

The Labour Manifesto mentioned managed migration. That seems polar to unfettered. Are we talking about failed socialist economics in countries that have been crippled by sanctions or subject to externally driven coups. Or perhaps you are confusing Labour's social democracy outlook (which is successful in many places) with bulls*** in the media that has seeped osmosis like into yer noggin.

I always expected a hit...but around ten years after leaving we will be better than now.....which is better than most EU countries. Those who state that the UK won't reduce immigration are also talking BS. This country does not need an increase of 300, 000 people a year. The damage that people like you with your ignorant politics have done has been considerable. We have a country over-flowing with people with not the infrastructure for them. These were political decisions....at a time where 1.8 trillion in debt with an interest payment on our debt levels far in excess of our defence budget.
