I was born in this country mate, members of my family were brought over here to prop up the healthcare system, and to fight for this country in the war, I've paid tax for as long as I've been able to, it's as much mine as it is yours.

What it is that "they" used to say that "they" need to change, to do the same?

I have never questioned your right to be here nor do I have any idea who you are or where you are originally from.

All I’m saying is that indigenous Brits have had to adapt over the last 50 years to ensure the sensibilities of immigrants from many different countries were not ridden over roughshod. It has been a long and difficult period of our development as a country, however we are now probably the most diverse place in the world and yet there are still those who who want to belittle old whitey for being stuck in the past racists.

I do not approve of racism despite what you probably think about me however I believe in respect between people sharing this soil we live on and I firmly believe respect is not a one way street. I’ll start showing more respect for all in this country when they stop stabbing and shooting each other. This never used to happen when I was a child.

So ultimately, you have learned to handle abuse just like many of us have.
Whether you get insulted for being Black, Asian, Mexican, fat, thin, tall, short, ugly, smelly, gay, Irish, stupid, poor ,rich or anything else someone can think of. In the end you have to laugh it off.
As soon as one get angry or upset and reacts, they have lost. They become the victim. They can even end up doing hard time for reacting with violence.
