Todays second download is a set by Elton John that was recorded in Lucca, Italy on the 2nd July 1999. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast and sounds top notch. I've posted a few boots and albums by EJ over the years and this is another top sounding show for the collection. A top setlist including "Your Song" "Rocket Man" "Crocodile Rock" and "Benny And The Jets" and many more... this is a cracking show and if you like Elton John - this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays extra download is a set by Marshall Crenshaw that was recorded at two shows - the main one being in New Haven, CT and the second show in Passaic, New Jersey in 1982. Both shows have been taken from FM broadcasts - the first on the BBC Rock Hour (1983) and the second on the King Biscuit Flower Hour Radio Show (1982) and are in superb quality. According to my files this is the first album or bootleg by Marshall Crenshaw that I've posted - I was surprised at this... he's released 9 studio albums since 1982 and has toured extensively. He plays his most famous track on this boot "Someday, Someway" which made the top 40 in 1982. If you don't know Marshall Crenshaw - give this one a try... Todays first download is a set by Kasabian that was recorded last Saturday at the Hard Rock Calling gig held at the Olympic Park, London. This is in superb quality - really top notch sound taken from a soundboard webrip from Absolute Radio. This is a cracking set with a top tracklisting. I've posted loads of Kasabian boots over the years - this is a another for the collection - and it's a real good one.... if you like Kasabian - you will want this show... this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays second download is another set from last weekends Glastonbury Festival - and the set by Portishead. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've posted lots of albums and boots by Portishead over the years - this is another top sound set for the collection. I didn't see or hear any of this set on tv, so I was glad to get ths one. If you like Portishead - grab this one.... this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays second download is a recent set by Black Sabbath that was recorded at the Ozzfest in Makuhari Messe, Japan on the 12th May this year. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard/IEM Monitor (Inner Ear Monitor) and sounds wicked - easily the best sounding boot of the bands current tour. A top setlist and band line-up with Rick Wakemans son Adam on Keyboards.... If you like a bit of Black Sabbath - then grab this one... this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays extra download is a set by Weezer that was recorded at the Susquehanna Bank Center, Camden, New Jersey on the 27th August 2009. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. According to my files this is only the second bootleg by Weezer that I've posted - good quality ones are few and far between. This is a good one with a top setlist which kicks off with a cover of Sabbath's "War Pigs" and ends with a cover of The Clash's "Should I Stay Or Should I Go" . Todays first download is a set by legendary guitarist Roy Buchanan that was recorded at Rockpalast, Hamburg on the 24th February 1985. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and sounds top notch. This is a cracking show with a top setlist that shows just how good a guitarist Roy Buchanan actually was. I've previosly posted a few albums and boots by RB - this is another top show for the collection. If you like Roy's style of blues/rock with his famous "Telecaster" sound.. then grab this one - this is thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is another set from the recent Glastonbury Festival in Somerset. This is the set by Dinosaur Jr and this is in superb quality - with the audio being taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. This is a cracking set with a top setlist including a cover of The Cure's "Just Like Heaven" included... According to my files, this is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted - and it's a good one. If you saw this set on tv or were at the festival itself - then grab this one... this is thoroughly recommended......
