I rather think it is. There won't be another one for a very long time, if it all.

Scotland voted to stay in the UK - suck it up
The UK voted to leave the EU - suck it up
Labour didn't win the election - suck it up

Or are you going to attempt to de-legitimise every single democratically decided outcome?

The issue of Scotland is not decided by a referendum it remains open to further referendums and/or elections as westminster will dictate.

The reason why the independence issue is now on the back burner is because of the voting at the general election which shows there is less appetite for it.

If the voters had backed the SNP they would be carrying on but the voting at the general election went against them.

Remember those glorious summer days the sporting calendar unfolding as the British do so well??

Well now every June from 2015 onwards your very own tory governnment (thank you for the applause) is bringing you referendums and elections to replace these frivolous activities.

Already in our second year and generating crisis upon crisis resulting in more and more referendums and elections for your voting pleasure.

Do you, better do another one then.

Brexit: UK could remain in the EU but on worse terms, says Guy Verhofstadt

The EU co-ordinator is plain wrong, if brexit was cancelled we would continue as we are.

So do you think the vote for leaving the EU by the public should be cancelled then?

More votes were cast for leaving the EU than have ever been placed in any UK vote previously.

Spot on (sad but true) by Garry Younge yesterday:

"Contrary to the fantasies of the flag-wavers and chest-beaters, Brexit was always going to going to put the little in Little England rather than the great in Great Britain. But nobody realised our influence would shrink quite this fast and leave us looking quite this small."

That's not correct. Plenty were warning about it very loudly but were shouted down for being scaremongers or not patriotic from the Guido lot when the complete inverse was/is true.

This what gets me,the utter contempt these people have for the ones who "dared" to vote leave, and sneering like some higher beings.

you make it sounds like people want it to go tits up. That's ridiculous, it helps no one, so start defending your brexit in responses rather than turning on those that question it.
