Todays first download is a set by Genesis that was recorded at the Music Hall, Cleveland, Ohio on the 15th April 1976. This is in superb quality and the audio has come from a remastered Pre-FM broadcast and it sounds top notch. I've posted stacks and stacks of Genesis boots and albums over the years - and I first posted this one in 2010 I believe.. but this version is a lot clearer in the sound as it's been remastered by the PRRP (Progressive Rock Remaster Project). Great selection of tracks on this one - which has Phil Collins on vocals and former Yes drummer Bill Bruford on drums... If you don't have this one - grab it.... this is a good one!.... Todays second download is a bootleg of studio rehearsals recorded in 1983 by Asia. This is the first time these tracks have been available and they sound fantastic. In a lot of cases the lyrics for the track hadnt even been written, hence a lot of La La La... from John Wetton. Good quality boots by Asia are rare enough, but these are a must have for any fans of Asia.... this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays extra download is a set by The Mannish Boys that was recorded at the Waterfront Blues Festival, Portland, Oregon in 2008 - the exact date isnt listed. This is the first bootleg by TMB that I've posted - as it's the first I've ever seen. It's a crackin' set as well and the audio quality is superb - crystal clear sound that has been taken from the soundboard. If you like a bit of blues rock - then give these guys a go... this is thoroughly recommended.. Todays first download is a set by the Grateful Dead that was recorded at Irvine Meadows, Laguna Hills, California on the 18th April 1987. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. When I checked my files I was staggered to see that I've only previously posted a couple of studio released albums and only ONE Grateful Dead bootleg... Considering that there are thousands of GD boots available I thought that need to be rectified... so I will be posting a few more in the coming month or so... This is a typical GD show - long tracks, jams and some great playing... If you like the Dead - then grab this one - there will be more to follow...... This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. Todays extra download is a set by Fiona Apple that was recorded at the Orpheum Theatre, Boston, MA on the 11th August 1997. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM Broadcast and sounds top notch. According to my files this is the first bootleg or album by this artist that I've posted - and I know nothing about her. She has released 4 albums since 1996 and is still going today. Todays first download is last nights set by The Rolling Stones at Glastonbury. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show. This isn't the full set - but all that was broadcast - BBC Radio 2 only broadcast the set from the song "Miss You".. This is a great performance by The Stones and they really roll back the years with this set... If you saw it on tv and enjoyed the show - grab this bootleg - its the mutts.... Todays second download is the first album or bootleg by this artist that I've posted. This is Steve Stevens and the Atomic Playboys and a set recorded in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on the 22nd September 1989. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and sounds top notch. Steve is best known for being the guitarist playing for other artists - most notably Billy Idol and Michael Jackson.. but he's been around for a while and has released solo albums as well as movie soundtracks. The band play tracks from their first album but kick start the set with a cover of Led Zep's Communication Breakdown... this is great stuff and thoroughly recommended.... This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. Boots by HC in good quality are rare - I only have a few myself... this is a good one with a top setlist with classics like "Brother Louie" "Everyones A Winner" and "You Sexy Thing"... this is thoroughly recommended....
