You really believe that? There's only one place we're going under Hodgson and that's the Championship.

Did you have the same prediction when he took over from the Dutchman with zero points.

Don't take up fortune telling for a living

???

We're currently 9th. Last season we finished 12th with 49 points. The season before that, we finished 11th with 44 points, and that season Roy was dealing with the handicap from Frank the plank.

What is your evidence that Hodgson will get us relegated? Our games so far this season suggest that it will be a long, boring season where we'll put in a lot of dull performances but will dig out enough points to stay up comfortably - again.

Agreed. Relegation talk is hysterical nonsense! I think we'll finish with a points total very similar to last year which, given the squad has been weakened, is not a bad achievement.

When the time does come to replace Roy it will be a very tough task...so be careful what you wish for, as our former chairman once said!

Having been in the top league for 7 seasons now I am envious of so many teams no bigger, some smaller than us,progressing past us,the likes of Bournemouth, wolves,Leicester even the weed!all have been in the league less time than us but seem to be actually making progress on a grand scale with good managers and good recruitment, where are we going wrong?we have, regardless of points so far,not made any real progress in 7 seasons,do we need a change at the top and the coaching side?

Weird way to look at things. We formed relatively late, in 1905. Doesn’t seem fair that we’re above scores of teams who went before us.

Every club has ups and down. The weird thing is we’re virtually at our peak as a club but so many of our fans seem to think we’re entitled to more.

All of the clubs that you mention are bank rolled to a far bigger extent than our ownership. Player recruitment becomes easier when you are shopping at a different level than Palace have been.

Three of them have new / redeveloped stadiums.

No '' real progress '' in 7 years ? I would argue that we were not in serious danger of getting relegated last season and hopefully not again this season. I do see that as a form of progress if a not particularly exciting one.

As for a change at the top, that will only happen if Parish sells up completely and as far as I am aware, that's not happening anytime soon.

PL or Championship I’ll still be a Palace supporter, but I’ve had enough of watching the dross we see currently. It’s boring, predictable and does not entertain. I find myself watching only because I’m hoping for something different to happen, but it’s like Groundhog Day, nothing changes.

I can’t understand the love in some have for Roy, he has players within the club that could change a game, but hardly picks them for the bench let alone the team. He just doesn’t trust youth or anyone that isn’t defensively minded. That for me is a massive downside to his managerial style.

I’d rather lose 4-2 against the top teams giving it a go than 2-0, at least we would see some action in the opposition half. It is 5 times already this season we have failed to score in the league and no-one can say that is a decent stat.
