Selling AWB isn't a shock suprise - any decent club will be looking at all options and i would say about a month ago the club would have started to look for replacements just incase it happens. Negotiations happened with utd and awb over a week ago - so the club hopefully was scouting. AWB has had one season with us, he didn't keep us up...the team did and i have no doubt a replacement will help us stay up too. The AWB money should... should convince wilf to stay one more year, reinforcements should please hm and the club will have been improved - moving forward.

Get it done now. Time to buy others such as attacking mid or striker and replacement right back. Wish him well and move on.
So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet. |

How long do you reckon it’ll take for someone on a breakfast news programme to refer to AWB as ‘the Manchester United academy graduate’ or ‘to come through the Manchester United academy?’

Anyone know the structure of this supposed deal? The last offer was apparently 35+addons making it 50m I thought we were wanting more of the 50m up front. If it's 40m up front then 15m addons, it may not be so good - and will give us less ability to spend...

More likely than not, we'd be able to get a bank to advance us that money if needed on the assumption that we'd get it from Man U eventually. Equally, we could just structure our own deals for new players similarly with deferred payments into them.

Better to have then money and Spunk it, than never to have the money at all
