Found his level. Nothing to see here. Flog him quickly while he is still knocking them in.

15 goals in 18 league games. To think his team still want to barter the agreed purchase fee.. He's killing it for them. As mentioned previously, he's not Premier league level, Turkish league is his level.. Leave him there, take the financial hit and move on.

It has Quaresma, who was champion with Besiktas 1 year ago and still rockin' it in the Turkish league and the Champions League, Mame Thiam, Koita, Mustapha Pektemek, some pretty decent attacking players. It's just that their defense sucks. They're the team which gave Trezeguet, the Egyptian winger, to Aston Villa in the Premier League for 10 million this summer.

What a funny game. Benteke on 130k a week, scores 4 in 2 and a half seasons, rewarded with a new contract. Sorloth now banging them in, albeit in a different league. Who would you rather have?

The Turkish Super League sucks in terms of quality! It's getting worse every year. So do not get your hopes high about Sorloth doing so well in Turkey. It's simply the substandard level of game in Turkey. The concept of defense in the game is non-exist. The average age of football players from all 18 teams is 28.22. While the highest average is 29.75, the youngest one is 25.38, which makes the Turkish League probably one of the oldest one in Europe even probably around the world. The Turkish Super League is the graveyard or a retirement home for International players who are no longer at the top of their game. They can still earn a lot of money. The players who do well in the Turkish Super League or they have a big European club name in their resume, they can easily earn over €2M before 15% income tax. The cost of living is also low in Turkey. They wouldn't make half of that amount in Europe while also getting playing time, fame and respect.

I believe that whoever negotiated this loan deal had their pants pulled down. No recall trigger in deal, just an agreement that if he plays more than 50% of games they can have him for £6M Is that a right to buy or just an option? Because it seems to me another Turkish team would be willing to beat that price for the leagues top scorer.

Not a popular opinion, perhaps, but can I suggest (I have earlier on in the thread anyway) that confidence plays a bigger role than people are letting on. I know i'd play better at somewhere I was loved and wanted than getting 4 minutes at the end of the odd game, then being slated if I don't bag a brace in that time. (In saying all of that, I appreciate the Turkish league is a far inferior standard.) I personally wouldn't mind bringing him back and giving a firing, confident Sorloth another go. You're 100%. Think about Ayew. Now we see what he's brought us -- which isn't really goals -- we love him. He was hated last year. Riedewald similar. Sorloth is a weird player, no doubt, and he has some real flaws in how he plays. But if he came back and scored a few (as I think he would), who knows where it would lead. It is just wrong to judge a player on a few intermittent cameos, sometimes out wide.
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

His record has been pretty decent everywhere he’s been, except us. It would be fair to say he’s never really had a run in the team. I remember when he hit the post away at Chelsea after coming on as a sub, who knows what difference that would have made to his Palace career if it had gone in. Knowing us, we won’t sign Cenk, it will be another Batshuayi scenario. Benteke is broken, we need him off the books now, he’s become an expensive laughing stock. We still need strikers. If the terms allow us to get him back, I reckon he’s worth keeping. He’s still young.
