Yeah I only knew that when he signed last time. Then when he played I could see why. The only fault he made was playing the ball sideways to ward under pressure between box and corner flag in his 1st game minutes away from our first result for weeks. Not in his education to hack it away. Didn't see him do that again or hack it away. Any pass was safely to feet or turning defence into attack. A real craftsman. I agree entirely - Sakho is a good footballer, which is why I can't understand why De Boer doesn't really fancy him (alledgedly). If FDB wants us to play possession based football, Sakho is made for it. Parish, stop pi55ing about and get it across the line.

This scenario is absolutely clear, as soon as someone stumps up £30m for Jonny Evans, West Brom will have £30m to buy Sakho. Liverpool must know this. Why accept £25m, when they know £30m will soon be on the cards.

Hi I am a new member/poster, I sign into Holmesdale online everyday to catch up with all the latest news and views. The latest alleged bid for Sakho has prompted me to join and voice my opinion. It strikes me that everyone know's we have wanted to sign Sakho since the end of the season, web traffic and rumour suggests we agreed personal terms back in June, and would also suggest that Sakho and his agents are pushing for a move to Palace. So with all this in mind my question is why has Parrish put in an alleged bid today of £22M plus £3M add on's, which he know's is well short of Liverpool's £30M valuation in an attempt "to do a deal" If Jonny Evans is being touted at £30M, then Sakho for the same money is a bargain (in inverted commas's) in today's ridiculous and out of control transfer market. We either want him or we don't - clearly the latter is the case and for my money he has been our been our major target of the window, but as usual we have prevaricated and left it right to the wire and now run the risk of other's coming in with a bid and/or being held to ransom. Please Parrish for all our sanity's sake just get this one one over the line and give the fans and the team a huge lift.

It's just this blind obsession with him that's a bit odd, seems as though many believe he is the answer to all of our problems and I'm not so sure it's quite as simple as that, and again, using up the majority of the budget on him when the squad is lacking depth severely would be absolutely idiotic. Don't get me wrong though, he was superb in the small time he did play for us, but it's worth nothing Martin Kelly looked decent under Big Sam. Defensive managers typically make all of their defenders look good - Pulis made Gabbidon look like Chiellini at times. Let's wait and see how it all unfolds from now until deadline day - I just really hope we're taking other areas seriously.

It appears that liverpool have rejected a bid of £25 million,I hope that Palace have the good sense to look elsewhere,he is Injury prone and might not repeat the purple patch that he had during his loan period. As a business Palace must not over pay.

Sakho has clearly stated that he wants to come to London not god-forsaken Birmingham so Pulis's possible £30m bid is irrelevant. Nevertheless to lose him for the sake of £5m (if that happens) would be tragic. That amount is less than peanuts in the Prem these days.
