That website is full of headlines that will get clicks. Wouldn't be too worried about what they say.

Although, if West Ham do match our bid and wages then the player will likely go there.

At some point we have to draw a line under negotiations and say take it or leave it. For a player of Benteke's caliber (25, proven goalscorer at this level), it's worth another week of wrangling.

I think Benteke has been talking to WetSpam this week. He will weigh up their offer against Palace's - and will then continue to negotiate for the best deal or him. Its a sellers market

West Ham are currently in the US & I'd imagine that Palace will be flying there in the next day or so. I expect something to be sorted out either way soon.....

We've GOT to get Benteke! Looking at his youtube 49 goals + 12 assists with Aston Villa coupled with his misfit with Liverpool you can see he is a Palace only striker! Watch that tube imagining it's Palace not Aston...same type of play...balls being hoofed to him from all over the park just like we do, and he wins the ball himself and just goes rogue and scores or assists. Can't see West Ham being as attracted as we are and I can see why Benteke himself wants to come to Palace. Unless West Ham are going to be stupid we will get him. My guess is before the weekend...
