I had dinner Saturday night with a couple of friends & our other halves, one a swiss season ticket holder, the other an architect. The architect's company, Populous, got told on Friday that they were out of the running to redesign Selhurst Park; so it seems safe to assume that something is still planned re upgrade of the Stadium. I’m probably being dense but what’s the significance of the word “swiss” in the above, MikeC?

The money has gone. Wages. There will be no proper redevelopment. Why else did the club take out a bank loan in the spring? you are right that all the Sky money has gone on transfers and wages but not the money from the Americans. We were told they has invested £50m which was earmarked for ground developments - BTW I cannot see this money in the club's So the first £50m should be sitting somewhere and hopefully will be used as and when required

Martin Lewis would be tearing his hair out at such financial management. There was also the Tosun instalment issue.

We were told they had invested £50m but I can't see that this money has ever been put into CPFC's bank account, based on the published accounts.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Stadium plans' by bexleydave I think we was told they was going to invest £50m in the stadium if the stadium hasn't been developed yet then my assumption would be they haven't hand the money over yet. Why should or would they until the time it's needed for the stadium. All very well to complain they could spend that money on players and then complain the stadiums not been done. When in all likelyhood the money will be available from them as and when the club is ready to do the work. But hey hoe I'm sure we can complain that it's not siting in our bank account making us interest and not there's. Or that we haven't spunked it on players. I'll be upset if we have spent it on players but my assumption is we haven't and that in all likelyhood they'll on the agreement and put the money in as and when it's need for the redevelopment... But in the meantime everyone can moan that in five years PL status the stadium hasn't been rebuilt. Spoilt children, if that's what you think.

Me personally I couldn't really care, I just go to support my local team but even I can understand why people would moan, the stadium facilities are atrocious at best.
