The media are saying labour need to move central to win more votes. The media would love labour to get even more Tory lite. I'd love labour to move left. People will be (even more) sick of cuts and poverty in 5 years. The most successful party fought an anti austerity campaign and nearly swept the boards. I wonder why? Could it be something to do with Scottish Nationalism? Perhaps they should rename themselves National Socialist?
Interestingly the SNP have been right and left wing in their time. The question of Scottish devolution didn't form part of their manifesto. Many who voted no in the referendum voted SNP. You are seriously implying that the SNP does not want independence for Scotland? That other National Socialist party didn't have "we intend to invade Poland at the first opportunity" in their 1933 manifesto either.
Lolz.
But because it's you and your leftie mates doing it it's ok.
As you no doubt know, I was merely illustrating how something that is not implicitly stated in a manifesto is still a key aim. You implied that the SNP did not campaign for independence in the election so people voted for them because of their so called anti-austerity stance. Opinion seemed to be divided, you do not think their main aim is Scottish independence, the rest of the world does.

What you can't bear is an anti austerity party doing so well.

They were 3rd in number of seats and 6th in vote share! Tbf it would have been quite difficult for them to have done much better.
Scottish people should remember this. They are less than 8% of the UK population. Last year they voted amongst themselves to remain part of the UK. The UK is a democracy that they are a part of.... 56 seats entitles them to no more of a say in running our country than Labour or Conservative and parliamentary votes will reflect this on important issues. Nicola Sturgeon can bleat all she likes but she is duty bound to accept what Westminster determines.

This woman hates the Tories and she will prove a thorn in their sides throughout the term in office. She will have nothing positive to say about them at all and I await the stream of anti-Tory rhetoric. Can see a very frosty relationship between her and Cameron.

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

Can't see that going down well North of the Border, where the hobbies are smack, domestic violence, buckfast, deep fried meat (anything) and drinking till your liver gives out, whilst fighting with your neighbours about which religious sectarianist football team you support.
