Brexit was started by Cameron cowtowing to the Mail thinking he could win votes by offering a referendum.

It's f***ed us.

It's the one and only redeeming feature of his premiership.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Whatever happened to his 'special status' in Europe?

Corbyn - the supposedly Remainer:
In 1993 on the Maastricht Treaty, which he voted against: "takes away from national parliaments the power to set economic policy and hands it over to an unelected set of bankers who will impose the economic policies of price stability, deflation and high unemployment throughout the European Community".
In 2008 on the Lisbon Treaty, which he also voted against: he said the EU had "always suffered a serious democratic deficit".
In 2008: “The EU, to its shame, concluded a special trade agreement with Morocco for fishing rights that includes the waters off the Western Sahara. In doing so, it authorised the plunder of natural resources on a grand scale with no benefit at all the Saharawi people."
In 2009 on the first European Council president: "The creation of the post of president is a triumph for the tenacity of the European long-sighters. The project has always been to create a huge free-market Europe, with ever-limiting powers for national parliaments and an increasingly powerful common foreign and security policy."
During the Labour leadership contest: "I would advocate a No vote if we are going to get an imposition of free market policies across Europe", before going on to criticise the "growing military links" with Nato and calling for trade union "harmonisation" across the bloc, "rather than just allowing it as a business free-for-all across Europe".
He should have stuck to his guns on this - he would have attracted support from the Labour voters who turned to UKIP.

We have now sunk to a depth at which the restatement of the obvious is the first duty of intelligent men. [Orwell]

Yes, but do you accept that Corbyn was a Bexiter in Remainer clothing.

Brexit is a purely british fixation we think it is important but it is not.

The rest of the world is not in the slightest bit interested in brexit nor is europe.

I think African farmers that are crippled by massive EU tariffs are - they might in future be able to trade with us on a fair basis.

Plenty of african produce in Croydon.

Don't go looking in case of stabbings or drive-by shootings.

Interesting to hear that the DUP are to demand Nigel Farage takes part in EU negotiations as part of a MayDUP partnership. Oh and they want the right to have loyalist marches through Catholic areas again.

Incidentally, TM told the Queen she was ready to form a government when agreement with the DUP hadn't even been discussed and might no happen.

Can she be hung for treason?
