It is a masquerade to show justice being done and to claim that the Bidens's are taking it on the chin, unlike wicked old Donald. Politics in both Britain and the US is beyond satire these days.

The typical sentence for this crime is 6-12 months according to the BBC and this judge has sentenced people along those lines. Anything less is a cop out anything more maybe unfair. Is the typical guilty person someone with his history and subsequent problems? We’ll see. I expect a token sentence in jail followed by mandatory supervised rehab.

Hilarious. That is exactly what the trial was designed to show. A nothing charge in his home state with a corrupt legal system. He won't do any time and your Democrat friends can poke Trump a bit more. Transparent, pathetic and predictable. That conclusion is what is hilarious. Whilst certainly a nothing charge (I wonder how many similar offences happen every day without any consequences) he was charged and has been found guilty. So much for home states and legal systems being corrupt. If that’s corrupt I am glad I don’t live in one that isn’t!

Politics in both Britain and the US is beyond satire these days. That made me laugh out loud because it’s so ridiculous. So now the conspiracy theory which has the US legal system and the Democrats in lockstep to prosecute Trump for his crimes just when he is running for President is extended to include a member of Biden’s family just to show him in a better light. Priceless. My bowling mates will choke over their beers tomorrow when I pass them that gem. Must get the timing right!

Maybe some kind of curfew etc. Those with very heavy blinkers might try to present it as more serious but I doubt whether any fair mind objective observer will. Trying to overturn the result of an election is about as serious as you can get, without killing someone. Encouraging the storming of the seat of government not much less. Retaining documents that contain highly classified information and storing them carelessly is a major crime. Hiding payments that might affect your election prospects is election interference. Every one is much more serious than a mistake on a form, deliberate or not, even if drugs and guns make it worse. Regrettably neither guns nor drugs are rare in the USA. The only one Trump will receive a sentence for in the foreseeable future is the last. He has managed to kick all the others into the long grass. I wonder why? Don’t you?
