Last pages not loading which is probably a blessing so I don’t have to read these posts that I’m some evil b&stard because I’ve said these things happen when people take it upon themselves to interfere, after saying I don’t condone it.

I've already highlighted what you said and omitting the bulk of it above while making the claim that you're considered 'evil' won't change that. I certainly don't think such a thing and simply stated that the contrast between how you endorse and perceive those in agreement with you (those questioning and filming testing site staff) and how you spoke about this NHS worker asking people on a train to wear a mask (and getting a shattered eye socket for it) is stark and unfortunate - which it is. It speaks to your whole approach to this topic. Edited by BlueJay (31 Oct 2020 12.47am)

I'm obviously not debating the factual basis that people die, I'm saying it's unfeeling. If you want to repeatedly harass me over such a benign opinion for multiple days feel free. It's to be expected. And It's quite clear - not incoherent - I'm saying dissecting tremendously sad occurrences within peoples families isn't my bag, so trying to draw people back into a discussion about it days later isn't going to happen. A fact that's clearly angered you resulting in your toys out of the pram moment above. Spewing bile because you don't get your way won't get you anywhere. Move on.
Get a grip. Everything you post is based on emotion. I'm calm. Are you? You feel the need to defend all the time. You are the archetypal example of the problems in this world. Outraged by a comment which offends others. You have never attempted to oppose the Yeadon posts, but swallow everything this arsewipe government sells you. Despite being advised by SAGE who have no virologists on the team. You sir, are part of he problem. Show me how 'lockdown' worked first time round, and then justify this next 'lockdown'. "It didn't work first time, but let's try it again" . And clamp down harder on those that flout the rules. Put them in prison. And if it doesn't get rid or the virus, up the ante. But this time, shoot people that disobey? Can you not see where this is going? Already you can't see family. How long before you cannot leave your house? I believe this has alredy happened in Germany(?). You need to print off a pass to leave your house to go to the shops. All the while, soy boys like you cry that somebody died at an age they would normally die. Average age of deaths due to Covid-19 - 82 Average life expectancy - 81 How many REALLY died of c-19? Certainly not Mapletree's mother. If you have an issue with that statement, you haven't grasped the basics of life and death.

A tweet from a Government Minister earlier tonight states that The Prime Minister will make an announcement on Monday that a National Lockdown is to be introduced from next Wednesday 4th November until The beginning of December, as a result of the ever worsening situation and in order to try and ‘save’ Christmas. I haven’t seen the tweet / leak myself but it was reported and then discussed at length on the Steven Nolan show tonight when I continued listening to the BBC Radio 5 Live broadcast after our commentary from the game against Wolves. She certainly died as a result of COVID-19.

I'm not saying it's slowing at all. I'm saying that the numbers and hence testing ramped up hugely in September, from very quiet months previous. As such it would make rational sense that it would be a news story and that there would be busy queues being photographed to illiterate that. Also they were on the backfoot, and now capacity has increased. The vast majority of people are not needing constant reassurance that people are using testing sites beyond that because they know that they are. They're not driving around the country photographing queues to talk fringe types out of delusions, they getting on with their lives. You're posting echo chamber Twitter posts from people desperate to believe that every single aspect of what is happening is a government conspiracy or lie. They are not looking, nor at all interested in posting anything other than finding testing stations that are empty during time of filming (nor are you). Doing so would undermine their own paranoid outlook, and they have reached their conclusions by doing the exact opposite. You went on a 'empty testing centre' posting spree the moment I posted requested links to busy test site queue images. Moments earlier you'd questioned the very existence of busy testing sites. Edited by BlueJay (30 Oct 2020 11.45pm) So gullible.

I guess they figured these local lockdowns could dampen down certain trouble spots, but it looks like Boris is about to pull the trigger on Lockdown 2 then. A key problem I can see is that clearly lockdowns can lower numbers dramatically but over a substantial period of time. As I very much doubt they'll close schools and unis I do worry that this could lead it to being less effective than last time but also the final nail in the coffin of many more businesses. A vaccine could potentially be the key to move beyond this for the most vulnerable, and 'if' studies go well a December or January rollout is perfectly feasible. As such it's very unfortunate that things are ramping up again the way they are. I do appreciate the flipside though of the do nothing approach from those questioning and denying anything and everything about the virus. They aren't the ones facing the music as the daily deaths ramp up again. If you're in government during this you really can't win no matter what decisions you make because it's all far worse than the status quo.

Edited by BlueJay (31 Oct 2020 12.47am) It wouldn’t matter whether the man approached someone for not wearing a mask, wearing any clothes or smoking a joint. I’d still say that these things happen and best to swerve people like this than get involved. In fact the only time I’d get involved is if someone was getting hurt and they didn’t deserve it, which might include this guy, but there was no need him to bother him. It’s got fack all to do with Covid or nhs workers but it’s now got a lot to do with your supercilious accusatory nature that gets on everyone’s t1ts as you try and paint everyone out of order compared to perfect you, only you just deny reality in your civilian perfect head you think you live in while some of us point out unfortunate reality. That’s your choice. But you’d do yourself if a favour if you packed in the accusatory bullsh1t when someone just points out how things are. Edited by Rudi Hedman (31 Oct 2020 1.12am)
