The torys are being very coy about their plans. I for one am of the opinion that they'd sell their kids if there was a profit from it. Uh-huh.

Anyway, I thought the communities that practice arranged marriage had cornered the market of selling kids for profit.

I do worry about you taking things so literally. What is the last comment all about? What communities. When I got married all those years ago the ex spent f***ing ages arranging it.

Maybe he meant the main community that has arranged to profit from getting rid of kids....oh dear, that was "us" reducing the deficit by getting rid of the costs of looking after young kids... "...after the Second World War, ministers, aided by respected charities including Barnardos, the Salvation Army and the Catholic Church...emptying the nation's orphanages of a generation of children, some as young as four, who were shipped to Australia, Canada and other outposts of the empire. The children were told their parents were dead. In fact, many of them, destitute after the war, were very much alive and believed their children were in temporary care. When some sought to reclaim their children from the orphanages, they were told they had been adopted. Many of the child migrants - who remember their 'new start' being smoothed with stories of exotic fruits, delicious sweets and 'kangaroos who would take you to school' - now claim that they suffered years of neglect, beatings and sexual abuse by the religious orders and charities that were supposed to care for them."

Actually I was talking about some communities in the UK in 2017. Edited by hedgehog50 (03 Jun 2017 9.32pm)

PM called an election over brexit and getting unified behind her position. Now that's over she will continue but weakened maybe after a few months she will see the light. A ray of hope for those of us who thing hard brexit is disastrous not having it at all would be better.

I'm sure you will be throwing a party with your Commie friends(if you have any friends) and doing a rendition of 'All Around My Ushanka'.

not going there. Well you should if you call yourself a communist. It is 'the people' that are being screwed and this election is helping that along. Hope instead of fear? What we have is a football supporter attitude toward politics where people are voting for a side rather than what is in the countries best interests.
