Todays first download is a set by Aussie rockers AC/DC that was recorded while the band were on the "Highway To Hell" tour of 1979 - which means that Bon Scott is on vocals. This is a cracking set and one that I thought I'd previously posted, but a check on my files can't see this one anywhere. This rocks big time and if you like AC/DC - especially with Bon Scott, you will want this one... this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays second download is a set by the legendary rock/blues guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and sounds top notch. The show was recorded at the Spectrum, Philly on the 23rd May 1988 and is a cracking set. I've posted a few boots and albums by SRV over the years and this is another crackin' show for the collection. If you like SRV - then grab this one - this is thoroughly recommended.... This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've only posted a few boots by LR - this is a good addition to the collection. Todays first download is a bootleg by David Bowie that has been taken from two shows of his 1978 tour. The first part of the boot was recorded at the Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA and the second part of the boot has been taken from the show at Earl's Court, London. The quality of both shows is superb and the audio in both cases is from the soundboard. This is a wicked boot, which was originally a limited edition of 500 and included video of the shows as well. There's no video unfortunately, just the music - which if you like Bowie, is thoroughly recommended.... Todays second download is a set by RHCP that was recorded at the Saturn Dachternasse, Hamburg on the 7th June 2001 - 12 years ago today. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've not posted that many boots by RHCP according to my files - something I was quite surprised about - I thought I'd posted more... This is a cracking show with a top setlist.... and if you like the Red Hot Chili Peppers - this is thoroughly recommended....
