Brexit looking like the right decision more and more as each day passes. You do realise what 'no longer' means don't you old boy?

"Theresa May has said repeatedly in recent months that she doesn’t believe “E.U. leaders will seriously tell German exporters, French farmers, Spanish fishermen, that they want to make them poorer just to punish Britain and make a political point.” Exactly. There is no way loud-mouthed politicians and their lackeys would go down a road to punish others and make their own country poorer in order to make a political point ,eh, Brexiteers?
Edited by Kermit8 (19 May 2017 5.44pm) The rise of inflation is more likely to be caused by low interest rates than Brexit.

We have now sunk to a depth at which the restatement of the obvious is the first duty of intelligent men. [Orwell] |

Europe (led by Germany) starts bitching about what they should (or shouldn't) be contributing towards NATO, expecting others to shoulder the burden, yet Europe has relied on two of its major contributors to free it from German domination (which has happened again) on two previous occasions. What happens next? An EU army (led by Germany), perhaps?

There May be trouble ahead Sorry,NHS Before the fiddlers have fled You do realise that, if the NHS have to start funding treatment of UK citizens in the EU, the EU will have to start funding treatment of their citizens in the UK? No idea what the figures are, but it's interesting that the article chooses to only mention what could potentially be required for UK citizens and not mention the reciprocal side

Not sure what your point is - she was a remainer, we had the referendum and voted to leave. As a remainer of course she thought it would be better to remain and tried to convince people of that, but the nation didn't agree (I still think Cameron shouldn't have called the referendum, but he did). Are you suggesting that anyone who campaigned to remain should've resigned once it became clear we are leaving? By all means call her out about lies when she lies (as she inevitably will, being a politician) but she's not lied about her thoughts on Europe. She wanted to stay, the country voted to leave, her job is now to make the best of it

I can't recall any PM being like this certainly Mrs Thatcher was difficult but not untrustworthy.
