Which is what Farage has done. He challenged the bank and they offered to reinstate his account. Not the way it seems to me. They have had a PR disaster and are scrambling to repair it anyway they can. I suspect their PR agency advised them to swallow hard and take the hit.

Total Farage victory.

Take the hit for what if they did nothing wrong according to you ! For the embarrassment following their PR disaster. They can only mitigate their situation now.

How difficult would it be to open another account or make other arrangements? No money has been lost. It’s more of a nuisance than any kind of a major problem.

It was only a PR disaster as a result of their actions ! Of course it was. Careless management and poorly designed systems. That though was all it was. A big error by a bank that fully justified the resignations. Handing such a propaganda victory to Farage has been painful to witness. He always looks smug but now his demeanour is now so self-righteous it’s really difficult to watch.

Yes, a bit like a baker refusing to put your gay propaganda on a cake. In that nobody died, that’s true, but it was never the case in the bakery case. That was always about exposing discrimination. There was no discrimination involved with Farage. He wasn’t debanked for his opinions. He was debanked because those opinions were controversial. If they were controversial left wing opinions he would have been equally at risk. Of course, Farage claims otherwise and people like you buy his spinning so there’s little chance of you seeing that.
