I once won the cup in Football Manager 2012, so have chucked my CV in.

Bring back Steve Coppell! I heard he was linked to someone recently. Lower divisions, I think, but I don't think he went there.

Because he comes at zero cost and is one of Parish mates. There are a load on here that reckon we have a load of money stashed away just waiting to be spent. (The £millions for the new stand in a seperate account.) We have no money and have let the squad run down to a level where rebuilding is now a huge job. This is simply poor leadership and management by the Chairman. I can't see many managers willing to take on this thankless task which is why I could see it being kept in house. The only manager who will come to us, is one who knows the risks, but will want to gain good will, look at Brighton, finished 16th, weren't that good on paper, but gained plaudits for the set up... a manager will come in, want that respect.... and then move on. The other clubs know our set up, it's no secret... any manager that comes in will be assessed on what he can do with this club in a year and if we go down playing better than what we have been, then that manager has done his job and will be off. We have no money, the youth team is hardly ready to step in... We need 75 mil over two years to fix this and be established. If I were parish, I mean, I can see him starting next season with he books balanced and 17th the goal with an eye on being the best team in the EFL if we were to be relegated. As painter said, the model of being a yoyo club isn't a bad one at all. Parish could get a lot of good will for being honest and sharing this, and actually having a plan we see being carried out.

Still think with the position we are in and financially we are suppose to be restricted ? Big Sam is the man. Will keep us up and we can rebuild slowly in process.A risk yes but so are other candidates

No way should Palace take Lampard. Did nothing at Chelsea despite a top four squad.

They would without a doubt keep us up, But would have to spend a bit to get a few players in . I do remember him saying though on a half time chat when he was commentating on one of our matches , when asked if he would go back to Palace his response was " What go back to Palace . No chance" . Would love to see it though .

Got to question the board for letting so many players out of contract at same time. With today's news about Ferguson adding to the problem next season could be a nightmare. Really need one or two of the under 23 to step up. Cannot think of a new manager relishing this job at all, are luck seems to have run out. What a difference a week makes. Remember as a kid watching Jim Cannon make his debut against Chelsea, a born leader. God do we need someone similar now. But this is typical Palace, and that's why we love them, through the highs and lows.
