No it’s about staunch EU loyal remainers, after you posted this, ‘Greece is in “technical” talks with the UK over allowing Britons carrying a vaccine passport to travel to its tourist hotspots from May despite concerns in Brussels and other EU capitals.‘ Well it is now, yes. Wasn't the original point of discussion though

That's a shame, hopefully she'll be OK. My mum has had hers - recovering from serious cancer so was a priority. Lives in Worcestershire. My Brother-in-Law who is 69 has had his and my sister has had hers, as she works for the NHS. Edited by ASCPFC (24 Feb 2021 12.40pm) Really pleased that your Mum has been vaccinated. It sounds like she's had her fair share of challenges healthwise, so it's good to have this fighting her corner.

They are not being made to do hard labour, don't like it don't come. That's commendable. On the whole people are good at sticking to the rules, but there are still situations outside of that where it's good to go the extra mile. I mentioned on here before that after christmas, I had an emergency dentist appointment. As I was sat there the dentist excitedly informed be that he'd spend the entire xmas period out and about in Dubai with his family. Apparently it was one of the few places it was still possible to go without quarantining. With his profession in mind I thought this was rather negligent. I'd been trying to be careful (my partners Mother is staying with us at present). Since I may as well have been on holiday too for the potential consequence to me, along the same lines as you, I kept a low profile (even within the context of my own house!) for the following week+. Messing up and it having serious consequences for others is the nightmare scenario.

Despite the current and future impact on society as a whole, the price visited by covid-19 is heavily weighted towards the elderly and vulnerable. You just choose to show a stark lack of concern for them ('dying', 'genetically inferior'), while wildly exaggerating the impact on others ('survival!' 'a species killing itself!') erroneously placing them all in the same burning building - 'saving woman and children' first (unless one of the children is 'genetically inferior' I suppose - by your own logic they would be way down the priority list). A non answer especially considering the criticisms you have leveled. And you've said before that the vaccine will not be safe for years (clue - It would seem that it very likely is). These grandiose stances and attacks on the dangers of the current approach and the vaccine all seem to fall away as soon as people are actually called up to have it. Funny that. You'll likely be no different.

Histrionics. And you can't see it? Seriously? Kinda messed up the cut and paste... Edited by Tim Gypsy Hill '64 (25 Feb 2021 10.53pm)

Great. Next time maybe say that rather than tying yourself up in contradictions? I did say that. You just didn't comprehend it, so I simplified it.
