I think we'll get our record Premier League points tally this season which would be 50. I think that would be an excellent achievement but I suspect it still wouldn't satisfy everybody on here. Reminds me very much of Charlton fans saying Curbishley had "taken them as far as he could". Remember what happened after...

No striker has ever done well under Roy. Roy is a safe pair of hands and doesn't complain so he suits the board. It's just very dull, he's pretty average, definitely has his plus points but also has his flaws that he will never address, but he's stable. This sums up the situation perfectly and it doesnt look like its going to change this season. COYP

Because Hodgson's points per game is vastly superior to any of his three predecessors and the trajectory is upwards. Saved us first season, record points tally second, on track to beat that again in third season. There is really no argument for changing managers other than age and Roy's appetite for continuing. It is difficult to criticise RH’s tactics because he has managed to keep our premier league status without much financial help from SP and the board. However, the tactic of surrendering territory to the opposition in the first half requires examination. This was certainly the case in the Man City game when the whole of their team spent most of the first half camped in our half and it led to two goals. In the second half we took more of the game to them and we looked much more effective as result. I haven’t seen today’s game but it looks possible the same tactic was employed today because Arsenal scored two goals in the first half hour.

The players against us were just too good and we were overwhelmed, there ...I've done the examination and that is the result.

I used the Man City as an example that has happened in other games. To say we were overwhelmed is correct because it was like a practice match with attack versus defence. If you play this way of course you are overwhelmed.

Extend Benteke instead of buying a striker. Check Until those shareholders are bought out we’re looking for cheap cheap or cheaper. All whilst Zaha is depreciating faster than we ever thought. The frustration continues until a buyout.
