Todays first download is a set by the legendary Jimi Hendrix that was recorded at the Berkeley Community Theatre, Berkeley, CA on the 30th May 1970. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch for a bootleg thats over 40 years old. Jimi played two shows at the BCT - this is the first show... it has a different setlist and a couple of extra tracks than the second show. JImi is accompanied by Mitch Mitchell on drums and Billy Cox on bass guitar... This is Jimi - nuff said!...... Todays second download is a set by Black Sabbath that was recorded at the Centrum, Worcester, MA on the 4th November 1983. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. This is Sabbath with Ian Gillan on vocals - a short lived line up which produced one album and one tour... As well as the usual BS hits the band also play a cover of "Smoke On The Water" by Deep Purple. Sabbath without Ozzy just doesn't sound the same and although Ian Gillan tries hard - it just doesn't seen right..... Todays extra download is a set by Krokus that was recorded in Milwaukee, WI on the 13th August 1981. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast on the BBC's Rock Hour radio show. Krokus were touring in support of their album "Hardware" at the time and the band play tracks from that album. If you like Krokus - then grab this one - this is thoroughly recommended....
