Todays extra download is a set by Sparks that was recorded at the Magic Mountain Amusement Park, Valencia, Santa Clarita, California on the 23rd April 1983. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from a Vinyl bootleg of the broadcast that was ripped to CD - and it sounds fantastic. Good quality bootlegs by Sparks are very, very rare and I only have a few myself. This one was originally posted on here on the 18th May 2009. If you missed it then - grab it now... this is thoroughly recommended..... This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've posted a few boots and albums by Arthur Lee & Love over the years - but not this one. Todays second download is a set by 70's glam rockers The Sweet and a show that was recorded at the Masonic Auditorium, Detroit. MI on the 27th February 1976. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard. The band kick off with the single "Ballroom Blitz" and play other singles "Fox On The Run" and "Hellraiser" as well. This is a raw sounding boot - exactly as performed without any remixing from the soundboard. If you like a bit of nostalgia - relive the 1970's with this show.... Todays extra download is a set by Vampire Weekend that was recorded last Monday at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado. The quality of this boot is absolutely incredible - the vocals and all the bands instruments are well up in the mix and this boot sounds wicked.... and its AUDIENCE recorded... I am gobsmacked by this recording. Usually audience recorded boots are awful and for completists only.. The band play a wicked set which features heavily on the bands latest album "Modern Vampires Of The City" (which I've previously posted)... If you like VW - then grab this one ... for an audience recorded boot, this is the dogs..... This is in superb quality and the audio for the has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. This is great stuff and if you like a bit of blues rock - you wont get much better than this one.... this is thoroughly recommended....
