How much of this is personal knowledge Phil and how much is what you read in the newspapers because I wouldn’t trust a word they say. They are currently under instruction by government IMO to try and scare the population into acting more responsibly. I believe there is a damn good reason why there is a north/south divide on infection rate but I’d probably get arrested if I share it. Southern softies are more hygienic & less ignorant? Higher socioeconomic areas generally behave better or adhere to the scientific advice at least. I don’t buy that it’s just to do with your circumstances. You only need to compare behaviour in supermarkets in the spring. It’s more civilised in the higher socioeconomic areas. Unfortunately the mask compliance is too. If there wasn’t open doors in supermarkets masks wouldn’t be needed. There will be reasons along these lines. Plus the Muslim culture. Up to them imo and Covid came back in London in Muslim areas again. See Tower Hamlets etc. But there is also the reason of student cities up north and the virus being cut short by the lockdown compared to the south and south east. The south west seems to have avoided it so far due to space, age groups taking the precautions and more than likely a higher socioeconomic demographic.

'Tiers for souvenirs are all you left me, memories of a love you never meant'. I have switched it all off too, if the virus comes near me I am going to punch it on the nose.

My Mother in Law passed away in hospital from Covid-19 in March of this year. I try to be as informed on the subject as I possibly can be from both personal source and open source material. As for the infection rate, It doesn’t take a genius to work out why certain groups / areas are seeing a higher infection rate than others. I hope that people here listen to you and understand that you know what you are talking about as you have direct personal knowledge. The uninformed cynicism from some, which isn't being helped by the muddled approach of the government, is sad to see. We all need to stay together so we can defeat this beast. The conspiracy theories are particularly regrettable. There is no reason why we cannot blend responsible behaviour with keeping the economy active until the vaccines become available. These are not just "more of the same" vaccines. They are entirely new approaches based on recent developments. Everyone needs to take this seriously and stop imagining that governments, big business, the MSM, social media, the "new world order", the UN, WHO, China, George Soros or Bill Gates are in some kind of association designed to control your life.

Look behind almost any guest talking heads on corporate media supporting the COVID narrative and you will find a clear pattern. Talk radio just had a guy called Roy Lilly on as a guest with Richard Madely (Talk Radio) and although he's introduced as a "former head of an NHS trust" to disarm the listener a quick google search show his main interest being The Kings Fund which is funded by Pfizer, AstraZeneca and numerous other big Pharma interests. He's just a mouthpiece for corporations. Also, Talk Radio is part of News Corp (Rupert Murdoch). It's a completely astroturfed narrative. Why are people still not getting this? Our politicians are compromised by big business interests. It's just massive corruption. Edited by W12 (28 Oct 2020 11.30am)

Except Phil's mother-in-law. And my mother. Apart from that all is hunky dory.

Worse than that this is being used to introduce the "great reset". It's not a conspiracy theory when they are telling you it's going to happen.

One issue I have these days is why did supermarkets ditch queuing and social distancing straight after masks became compulsory. Utterly stupid. I thought it was after lockdown they lifted it and also after we no longer had herds of people all trying to shop at once. Sainsburys Warlingham is now reasonable in terms of numbers during the majority of times I have been. It's reasonably easy to dodge people in there if you want to and all the distancing markings are still on the floor.

Just literally got my latest test result which was negative. I had sat drinking for a few hours with a mate of mine who contracted it a week ago and who didn't realise until he got tested the day after we met. He had a headache and a productive cough (not dry), but his wife convinced him to get a test and sure enough he had it. He's 52 and is perfectly fine as is his wife.
