Todays first download is a set by soul legend James Brown that was recorded in Lausanne, Switzerland in 1973. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. The first part of the show is a set by The JB's - which is an excellent set as well. If you like a bit of soul - James Brown style - then this is for you.... thoroughly recommended..... Todays second download is a set by Don Henley of The Eagles that was recorded at the Foxboro Stadium, Boston, Mass on the 6th September 1993. This is in superb quality - really top notch sound - the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds wicked!".. The set starts with the classic Eagles tracks "Hotel California" "One Of These Nights" & "Desperado" before moving on to some of DH's solo material which includes his biggest solo hit "Boys Of Summer". If you like Don Henley - grab this one - this is the mutts and thoroughly recommended. Todays extra download is a set by Eric Clapton that was recorded at the Capitol Centre, Largo, Maryland on the 4th October 1974. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds wicked. I've posted shed loads of Clapton albums and bootlegs in the past and I first posted this show on the 6th July 2009. If you missed it then, grab it now - this is great stuff and thoroughly recommended.... Todays first download is a bootleg of outtakes from the album "Hunky Dory" by David Bowie that were intended to be used for an album that was to have been released between "Hunky Dory" and "Ziggy Stardust" - but never released. These are in superb quality and the audio has been taken from studio tapes and soundboard for the live bonus tracks. This is great stuff and if you like David Bowie - you will want this.... Todays second download is a set by Deep Purple that was recorded at the Kilburn Gaumont on the 22nd May 1974. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show. I was at this gig - and it was loud - really loud... but the support band ELF (with Ronnie James Dio) were a lot louder!!!... I came out the show with my ears ringing... it was a really great gig... This is classic Purple.... thoroughly recommended....
