The officer suffered from post traumatic stress and his injury was so bad his children refused to walk to school with him. Tommy Robinson campaigning against Islamic gang rapes....sentenced to 13 months. Then moved to Leicester prison with a 1 in 3 Islamic population, which I would suggest is risking his life.
he can sign the rule 45, and put himself onto the sex offender / vunerable prisoner wing any time he likes. this will make him safe for his whole sentence...its entirely his choice not to sign up to go on that wing!

Interesting facts about what rights he has. Do you think it was a wise decision to transfer him there? If the decision wasn't made, he wouldn't have had to sign any rule. Are you happy he's been transferred? Edited by Park Road (17 Jun 2018 3.30pm)

Edited by Park Road (17 Jun 2018 3.30pm) he would always have been moved regardless, after his court appearance he wouldav gone to the closest core local prison that has spaces. then they would do his sentence plan and after a period of time relative to his sentence he would be moved closer to home, which apparantly happens to be hmp onley, he is actually lucky to be moved to a hmp run prison & not a private one as that would be worse for him due to staff shortages. during his prison inducton he would have been asked the question about being under threat, or having concerns about his safety and he obviously said he has none or he wouldnt be in a mains wing. obvioiusly there is a stigma attached towards being on a VP, wing but if its a case of your own safety then it would be a sensible choice to make, but then again if he did go onto the VP wings it could damage his reputation and he wouldnt want that now would it. at the end of the day if he hadnt broke the law he wouldbt have to make these decisions / be in this situation #simples

Braun...meh! That's the answer I was expecting . Maybe you're angry, maybe you're not, you do come across a bit defensive. If Meh! is your answer then so be it. How many short straws are we talking about? Edited by Park Road (17 Jun 2018 7.05pm)

How many short straws are we talking about? not angry or defensive...just explaining how the judicial system works to you. he was never going to stay at hull nick, and onley holds a huge amount of b/c cat prisoners from london area, so on essence it makes sense he was moved there, as its close enough for visits & not close enough for prisoners to know staff. like i said, its his choice to be on the mains wings...one thing ive learnt working in that area is, you cant help somebody if they dont want to help themselves.
