Should be interviewed in my opinion. Brilliant manager and knows the game inside out and is tactically very good. The last good manager England had. That was Venables, so far nobody has thought up that bizarre choice, he would love to get his hands on some of Palaces money. I am sure people are just thinking of a few old names and saying they would be a good choice. The question is, if they are any good, why are they unemployed for years. Another thing is what players will Dyche attract?
Money attracts players, not who the managers are? Do you think Luka had a clue who Allardyce was before he signed.

I think you're stretching credibility to the limit there Maybe it's all done and dusted? And an announcement is imminent! Someone's bound to have seen Gary Monk in Sainsbury's

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Glenn Hoddle.' by kenbarr I respect your opinion. However I disagree. His time as a manager wasn't for me anything special. Apart from 1998 and that was due to the quality of the mix of old and young players. His performance as a pundit are as dull as ditch water and I believe unlikely to inspire our team. I respect your opinion also as football is about opinions. I think Hoddle could turn Wilf into the complete player.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Glenn Hoddle.' by kenbarr I think he'd be a very good appointment. People seem to be overlooking his achievements that landed him the England job in the first place. I reckon England played its best stuff in recent memory under him and we're unlucky not to get to the latter stages in the France World Cup. Many of the options mentioned play a very defensive dull football (albeit relatively successfully) but I want to be entertained for some portions of the game! Noddles is a Good suggestion.

Mazzari? Mr no speak oh di engleze.no thanks. Silva hasn't (yet) signed for Watford so personally I havnt yet written him off for Palace. Even if he does sign for Watford there are still a load of good managers out there. And I trust Parish to make a good choice.
