I think you have to say that Corbyn came over far better today than Milliband ever did.

Corbyn never came back with anything after Cameron provided answers. It wasn't a "Yah Boo" cut and thrust session.

Let's get back to the "Punch and Judy" show instead of a bland question and answer session !
Cameron was lured into the "New Way" - he should ignore what Corbyn wants as it plays into Corbyn's hands.

Where have you been Willo these last few years? The political malaise is almost entirely down to the type of antics you promote. People were sick to death of it.

I really don't agree that cut and thrust sessions between political leaders is responsible for any political malaise.Think the issues are far more complex and run deeper than that.

Today's PMQs was bland and boring and the 'House' was as dead as a mortuary.Hopefully this won't last.

You see it as 'cut and thrust' as if some great intellectual challenge was apparent but those days are long gone. 'Playground verbals' would be more apt. At least since the nineties and the dawn of over the top spin and image conscious politicians.

Nobody ever mentions it but was it cause he is a Jew? Then that meant he could never be PM anyway - edit I think may just be Catholics.

I like to see Prime Minister's challenged on their answers and this brings about a "Cut and thrust". All Corbyn did was ask questions and meekly accept what Cameron had to say.He came back with nothing. It was the interaction between the party leaders which really made PMQs. It was not what you call "Playground verbals" but lively debate.

Maybe PMQ's should be a list of questions given to the PM on a sheet of paper and he runs down them providing answers !!!! Or maybe he should sit in a "Mastermind" chair and a quiz master appointed to ask questions !

Totally agree that the lack of follow up questions meant DC had a reasonably easy time. PMQ should be a time for really challenging the PM.

I wonder what D'isreali would think. The Barr on Roman Catholics is not quite what people think - more that alliegence had to be given to the monarch and they had to be recognised as head of the church in an oath - can't imagine many people caring about that sort of thing these days but perhaps was a more pressing issue when France and Spain were our enemies.

He will, he will. This was only his debut. What he won't do is immature point scoring and spin which has been the to the detriment of what PMQs should be about in recent times. That panto is over. Thank Christ.

Disreali was an Anglican and baptised at 12.

Not me but I think there are plenty in the UK how still care about the difference between Protestants and Papists. Personally they all worship a fantasy just with minor differences.
