Hi staffie, A request for a band I had never heard of until today, but have been recommended to listen to - Band: 25 yard screamer Album: Cassandra Hope its not too obscure! Many thanks.

Todays first download is a set by Bad Company that was recorded in Louisville, Kentucky on the 26th August 1995. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. This is the first bootleg by Bad Co. with Robert Hart on lead vocals - and he does a very good job, but Bad Co without Paul Rogers as the front man just don't seem right - a bit like Black Sabbath without Ozzie... Some great tracks are played by the band though, and if you like Bad Company - you will want this one..... Todays second download is an unreleased album by the Dave Matthews Band. These are the Lillywhite Sessions that were recorded in 1999/2000, never released and leaked onto the internet in 2001. The quality of these demos is superb and the audio has been taken directly from the studio master tapes and is top notch. I've posted a few albums and boots by Dave Matthews in the past - this is another top quality boot for the collection.. this is great stuff.... thoroughly recommended.... Todays extra download is a bootleg by Kiss that was recorded in Sydney, Australia while the band were touring in support of their album "Elder". This is a great sounding boot with the audio being taken mostly from the soundboard with the exception of a couple of tracks which are a mixture of soundboard/audience. If you like Kiss - grab this one, I've not seen many boots from this tour - thoroughly recommended.... Here is a download link I found for :- 'Fanfare in the Showground' The Elder Tour. Thanks for both these. Am I being silly but I cannot get the Vampire Weekend album to open. It won't import to itunes and Media Player which I thought I'd test it with say the .mp3 extension does not match the file format. Weird it's about the first time I haven't been able to make a download off here work in years. Seasick Steve is all fine... Edited by Jonathan (14 May 2013 9.21pm)
