Todays extra download is a set by legendary blues guitarist Muddy Waters that was recorded at the Fillmore West, San Francisco on the 4th November 1966. For a bootleg thats nearly 50 years old this is in superb quality with the audio being taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. Muddy is rated at number 17 in Rolling Stone magazines list of 100 greatest artists of all time... give this show a listen - it's not hard to see why... Todays first download is a set by Lindisfarne that was recorded at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA on the 4th November 1972. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast and sounds top notch. Bootlegs in good quality by Lindisfarne are very, very rare - I only have a couple myself and grabbed this immediately when I saw it. Some classics are played on this one including "Meet Me On The Corner" "Lady Eleanor" and "Fog On The Tyne" are all performed. If you like Lindisfarne - grab this one - this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays second download is a set by The Wilko Johnson Band that was recorded at a live studio session in Japan in 1986. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and sounds top notch. I've not posted anything by Wilko as a solo performer but have posted some of his Dr Feelgood albums. Wilko stated in early 2013 that he had terminal cancer, and announced he was going on a farewell tour. On 22 March 2013, Wilko played what would be his final show guesting with Madness on the television programme Madness Live: Goodbye Television Centre which was broadcast on BBC Four. Afterwards he stated that he would not be able to perform his two final homecoming shows at Canvey Island due to ill health and would not be performing again. Todays extra download is a set by Peter Hammill & Van Der Graaf Generator that was recorded at various venues between 1971 and 1974. This is in superb quality and the audio in all cases has been taken from FM broadcasts and sound top notch. I've not posted much by VDGG over the years as good quality boots are very rare. This is a good one and if you don't know Van Der Graaf Generator - this is a good one to start with... this is thoroughly recommended..... Todays first download is a set by Hall & Oates that was recorded in Salem, VA on the 22nd April 1982 and is in superb quality - the audio has been taken from a FM broadcast of the show. I've posted a lot of studio albums by H&A but not that many bootlegs. This is a good show and if you like Hall & Oates, you will want this one.... thoroughly recommended..... This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've not posted many bootlegs by Spiritualized as good quality ones are hard to find. This is a good one and if you like Spritualized you will want this one - thoroughly recommended.... This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've posted a few bootlegs by Elvis in the past - this is another top show for the collection.
