Have you considered that they may well be agent provocateurs – a mixture of one-nation conservatives, just stop everything activists, ‘female’ boxers with XY chromosomes, retirees from Cornwall, etc, As you often say, we should not rush to judgement and should gather all the facts and patiently consider the best way to go forward in a progressive manner. Is that supposed to be funny? I would bet a £1m against a single piece of sh*t that there were no agent provocateurs of the types described involved and that it would be very unlikely if there were any at all. I wouldn't discount one or two undercover police officers gathering intelligence though. We will know more when the court cases get heard.

They got it right. Is at best an opinion. One I doubt is shared very widely. Which is my opinion!

I remember being at Selhurst for a Palace v Brighton match under the floodlights. It was before the Holmesdale stand was built, so standing on the terraces. I was stood next to two such undercover police guys who would try and goad the crowd by shouting for Brighton. They both moved on when one of their radios started to tell them that they were needed elsewhere. I expect that they are more subtle these days.
hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing. |

I saw someone looking very much like Gary Linekar in the footage. What were your whereabouts last night?

Ah but he's previously posted on another thread - without a hint of sanctimony of course - how welcoming the Cornish locals have been since his arrival and how he's been "accepted". This acceptance was, of course, mainly as a result of his worthy efforts to integrate and nothing to do with his ethnicity. They are, to everyone who comes to live here and join in the culture. Not so much to those who buy second homes and only use them for a week or two each year, don't mix or spend much money. Like many who decide to make Cornwall their home, it's a great place to spend your final years. As I am sure other places are.

Edited by Rudi Hedman (03 Aug 2024 3.21pm) MDL EDL what’s actually the difference apart from one isn’t branded a terror group and they must be a known group to the police ! Maybe because they are brown people like blm.

But enough about violence from BLM, Stop The War, Support The Palestinians, Anti Terf, Defund The Police, Anti Racism etc etc. What are they doing about the Far Right? Did all, or any, of them involve the kind of mindless thuggery we are now seeing? There were some sporadic incidents for sure but nothing on this scale. They seemed well-marshalled and quite disciplined in comparison from my perspective. I am sure someone will be able to do an objective comparison.

What is this; atrocity top trumps? I offer you the St Luke's Primary School, Wolverhampton, machete attack. The perpetrator was black and I don't need to add a crude, facetious comment like "last time I checked". It would be nice if you focused on what I said. The point I made was this was a random loon who happened to be black not say Jihadi "guests" turning on the people and culture that accommodate them.
