I'm happy for Reform to get votes, so why am I concerned about foreign plots? It actually sounds like a conspiracy theory put about by people afraid of Nigel Farage's popularity.

The insult is in the presumption that those who voted for Brexit or Trump or any other non-approved choice must have been influenced by malign forces since they were so obviously wrong. The wake up call should be that if the suspicion is that misinformation is being spread then counter it more effectively.

I pointed out that the government have been lying to us for years - what's the difference?

Who knows how many were influenced, although the security services would be able to make an educated estimate. The point is that it was done and it wouldn’t be unless there was going to be a dividend.
