Future Partygate revelations may be even worse for Boris Johnson, says Tory MP.

There were more parties and Johnson lied about them all to the HOC as well.

Why people want to defend them is 'beyond belief'.

Beyond belief indeed Steeleye, hopefully the coming poverty crisis will make a few of the defenders in the country have a think - chill them to the bones, always a time to reflect as your teeth are chattering!

This! Seems like you are defending the party Teddy, plain and simples!

Not really. When Sir Keir says what it is he believes in and how he’s going to achieve his aims I’ll give him more credence; his ability at getting slung out of pubs notwithstanding.

So so silly - a logic which implies that you should only criticise and whine when you are in power, which I think an average 4 year old would realise doesn't make sense.

What do you consider the role of the OPPOSITION if not to question and challenge the party in power?

Are you a little mentally challenged?

Yes, it's the oppositions job to criticise and for dumb arses to take it seriously.

It's just politics.

Some of you actually think that the Labour Party would be an improvement.

Now that is funny.

Nah not me . I will be voting tory as my life is ok.
Sounds selfish but if a poor person won the lottery would they share it with another poor person.
Don't think so, makes you wonder eh!

But im not defending sir keir, or voting for him unless to remove this current rabble, worst case scenario, but you seem to favour the worst most corrupt gov ever- absolutely clueless, and worry about someone, anyone taking over- nobody could be worse! But don"t think i"m blowing sir keirs trumpet, he hasn"t put his head above the sand during this long long decline-just anyone but bungle for me- even wipe out the cronies and get some normal blues in like the old days!

I’ve said a few times I don’t favour any of them beyond the fact that Starmer’s team isn’t overflowing with towering intellects.
Depends on whether electing someone just because he isn’t someone else is that appealing. Where is the evidence that “he couldn’t be worse”?

I'm minted mate. I was thinking to pay a poor person to take me in their BMW but it would be hard to pull them away from sky sports on their 75" oled tv and their betting on their iPhone 13.

I had been labour for along time, but since the tail end of blair I just cant vote for them , no labour leader or backroom staff gives me conferdance.
There not challanging policys with any sense other than we wouldnt do that, more worried about that they had a party and they didnt , I cant bring myself to vote tory thats one step to far for me , Boris love him or hate him has at to deal with 3 major country and world issues , i know i couldnt even try to work out the pressure he and the Gov are under.

I really hope labour get a strong leader soon but for now i shall vote for someone else BUT NOT TORY

Exactly for all the mistakes this government has made over COVID Labour's only response is that they would do the same only better.

No real alternate policies that grab the imagination, as for the we would do it better I doubt anyone believes that not because it is Labour but simply the public don't trust MPs to get things right. "Trust us we are competent wont work for any party "

Right, so your previous take of "It is very convenient to be able to criticize and whine when you don't have the responsibility of decision-making." doesn't really make sense, does it? Given you acknowledge that you know, that's their job.

Great take as always.
