There was also the case of Kendrick Lamar a couple of years ago who invited a white fan onstage to sing with him then castigated her for singing the word which appeared several times in the lyrics.
Dick Gregory, among others, tried to reclaim this word in the 1960s. OK, job done - it’s decades since I heard anyone say it except comedians, actors or singers.

It's even cut out of the Dambusters and the dog's grave/memorial has been edited.

But if you want to go around calling black people, racial slurs, go ahead. Just admit you're a racist.

I think, from what I've read from you that I'm probably less of a racist than you are.

As I say, you seem fine with the racism you agree with.

I'm quite happy for anyone to use words or not use them independent of their race. I recognise that an insult is an insult but also that words only have the power that individuals give them.

I don't operate double standards on that. What I will do is point out hypocrisy.

Outside of the football team we support, we don't agree on anything, and never will. And that suits me perfectly fine.

I totally agree Rudi, and being from South London and seeing it now, that's why I will not support BLM. It's the ultimate hypocrisy and it's letting black people down. I don't know the solution.
I come from one of the council estates and was always really poor, I played all day with black and white kids. I honestly never noticed colour. My mum had no issue with me being out morning til night. There was no danger. Fast forward thirty/forty years and look. Plenty of ground floors have f***ing bars on the windows. Everyone has a knife. What the hell happened? Who knows.

Agree. I used to look at some of the outbursts and aggression you’d see from young black men and think they were letting their side or their own down. I try to ignore it as much as possible now. I used to have a black teacher who used to bore us senseless about Martin Luther King. I ended up realising why. He was trying to continue the good work and progress. There’s been an amount of letting those civil rights protesters down too. They didn’t put themselves in the line of batons for what’s happened and I doubt they’d be too impressed with the lack of action on knife crime either.

There was a bbc documentary on about a month ago. They talked to various young black people about the riots. The one which would put the lid on BLM was about 6 people in a room advocating defunding the police. Yeah sure, a few might benefit from the extra funds for a while, but in the end it’ll end in ruin and ruin to their own areas and a return to gangsters in the mould of the Krays in other areas and probably professional security in the well heeled neighbourhoods. The poor always lose, that’s why there’s this public service thing.

The ahem, N word was in common usage up until the 1960s at least. It was not used as an insult but just as a description of colour. It was regularly used for dog names and anything that was a certain shade of dark brown. Not directly related to slavery at all.

Now in the brave new world of immigration we have to shiver in our shoes at the thought of using it along with a whole host of other phrases and sayings and anything else that it is decided has suddenly become 'offensive'.
Now I get why certain words are offensive and I’m not in the habit of wishing to insult people but I'm personally sick and tired of being told what I can say and not say by woke, middle class snowflakes or anyone else who wishes to gain control of language for their own benefit. They have been on this planet no time, and they think they can dictate what is right and wrong.

I have a message for them and it's not PC.

Do you think Barnes Wallis called his dog that name, as an insult to a race or because his dog happened to be a certain colour? Perhaps he should be erased from our history

Did you fully read what he said or are you just ignoring the 'not used' bit
