And none of those were fair and all of them sadly ended up with some long term supporters/Season Ticket holders not coming to games anymore. I would argue that if something as trivial as moving seat makes you stop coming then are you really a fan of the club ? It's not being moved out of my seat to create a singing section that makes me angry. That'd be a bit annoying but I'd get it. Thank the Lord someone at last who gets it.
I spoke to soon LOL (only joking), however that is a bit presumptuous on your part as nothing has been set in stone to my Knowledge.
So far the only relevant argument I have read on here amongst all the teddy's being thrown and dummies being spat. The elderly and more vulnerable people who rely on the immediate fans around them for support will suffer and that is a crying shame, and yes I concede the club should be doing more for these people if they are to move them from their match day support network. And no, they are NOT being looked after by the club. I think where we have been a small family club for so long people have got used to having a close relationship with the club and it's management, but as clubs get bigger invariably that relationship changes sometimes for the good of the club, and not particularly the fans. SP is in a catch 22, the HF are clearly holding him to ransom ( that I do not agree with ) but without them the atmosphere is as shyte as the Emirates, Souless. So what does he do ? lose the Atmosphere that made us the pride of South London if not entire Premiership ? or put a few peoples noses out of joint in moving them ? To me it's a no brainer, I'm not saying it's a nice thing to do, just that it has to happen if the atmosphere is to return to Selhurst. The only other answer is for those people in the ground to create the Atmosphere themselves ?? But to date I have not seen any stand or block (including Block E) take up the challenge. And may I thank you for coming up an actual reason for not wanting to move, other than the normal "it's not fair " whine.

Why don't you take some of your suggested medicine and debate properly yourself as stupid childish insults are the sign of someone losing an argument
And I have lost no argument, the ONLY thing I keep reading is "it's not fair" from apparently grown men about having to move seats FFS get a grip. It reads like an episode of Kevin and Perry on Harry Enfield and chums. Furthermore any one who insinuates the atmosphere hasn't changed since the HF flounced is in utter denial, and for the record It pains me to have say this AGAIN (as I have clearly stated I don't agree with the petulant manner in which they flounced.) I do not agree with the HF's actions, but to say the atmosphere has not been affected is total and utter bulls***. This is a football forum dedicated to all things Crystal Palace and not many people (including myself) wish to debate news and politics here Wrong again I'm afraid, have a look across the top of the website when you log in, you will see a number of tabs including ones on news and politics, general talk and Gold talk. I merely pointed out that a thread on child abuse got less interest than this one (and continues to do so) which to me speaks volumes about peoples priorities, and how self indulgent those priorities have become, when a thread on having to move seats in a football ground, gets more hit/replies/interest (however you wish to express it) than a thread on the alarming figures in relation to the rise in child abuse and the organised gangs we now have perpetrating it. It was a comparison to hopefully show that I think the whole thing (the singing section) is being taken way way way to seriously by some when there are much much more serious issues at hand. But fine with me if you want to ignore it, as I said speaks volumes. The amount of indignation being flung about is utterly laughable, and I'm the one being called pathetic ??? youliterally couldn't make it up.

Where have mentioned any thing Fake or untrue ? It's true you are bigoted with your views, that's not name calling. Simply Don't know where to begin with slice of Fried gold. I certainly didn't have a "little Englander" rant, that's simply not true. Yes It is. And I've never called anyone an idiot on this message board, not even you. Apologies, you insinuated I was less than intelligent You need to be doing a little fact checking. Nope, no I don't, there a very little facts available with regards to the PROPOSED moving of fans to accommodate the HF And why on Earth are you still going on about child abuse,on a thread devoted to matters Palace ? I was drawing a comparison, would you like me to explain the big word for you ?

Any future debate with you is pointless. Look, instead of saying the same thing everyday, 10 times a day, why don’t you discuss the changes, say for instance, a full lower tier reset or no reset. Or how the fans are being treated before and after the changes, because those are what’s at stake. You may find you’re able to have an intelligent conversation about it with people on either side agreeing with you, including me, because I think the usual p1ss poor handling is derisory and insulting. Try it.

This is the debate, right: Those saying the club should accommodate the singing section: Those saying the club shouldn't accommodate the singing section: what points, in very simple language, did I miss?
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

The main stand, more than likely, could be years and years away, not 2-3 years.
