Only slight worry is how he will fit in to a non French environment. His last two clubs have had a huge French feel to their squads and he obviously felt at home. We have a very small amount of French speakers so he will have to adapt. Only negative though, would be a huge signing if it happens.

Souare and Chamakh? Not too bad, plus he obviously feels confidence in the manager

We've now got a few French speakers (Souare, Chamakh) and I would think that Super Al can speak French ? On another thought, does anyone know who will be replacing Ben as first team coach, even in the interim ? Wish him well in the future, though.

We've done it successfully before with a pair of Chinese defenders that didn't speak a word of English

If Cabaye comes in, is that the end for Jedinak? Suggestions that Jedinak was unhappy at the club.

...is the wrong answer. Wilf speaks French and, in fact, French is commonly used in his family home.

Wilf speaks fluent French. In his household his family speak French as their primary language. So wilf more than most!

I'll believe it all once he's officially at Beckenham having his medical. Until then it's just media hype with absolutely no truth to it.

Don't get too excited as we'll only feel let down by a transfer that we might not even be involved in.
