I'm not doubting his love for Bournemouth but I think in his head he will know moving to us is the right decision to make. We are financially stable now and a club that have a vision for the future, an academy bursting with talent and the mention of a new stadium in the pipeline.

Whilst I dont have any ill feelings towards Bournemouth, I actually am happy for you doing so well after the torrid time you've had over past years, I cant see you being any more then a small threat towards the play offs in league 1. Your chairman seems to have taken matters into his own hands and your finances will be what stops you moving forward and seriously competing where you are at the moment.

I believe Howe knows that a move to Palace would be good for his career, a chance to be the start of something special and the continuation of the new era here but he doesn't want to hurt/offend Bournemouth by leaving, but who can blame him for that, after being with them for so long it was always going to be a hard decision.

I just hope he follows his head and leads us onto success in the future.

I do think that if he'd made up his mind to stay at Bournemouth, it would have been the perfect time to do so straight after smashing someone 3-0 at home.

Unless he's angling for a new contract, something I'm astounded hasn't been put on the table to him following all the interest...

I think if I was in a similar position my first loyalty would be to the wishes of my family - so it wouldn't surprise me if Mrs Howe might have some influence in all this.

TAKEN FROM THE BBC SPORT..

1740: Here's some news that might interest Charlton and Crystal Palace fans, by the way - with BBC Sport's Mark Mitchener reporting that Bournemouth's much-coveted manager Eddie Howe told reporters after his side's 3-0 win over Plymouth in League One that he had a "very big decision to make" over his future, though he would not confirm if he had been offered the vacant manager's job at either of the London clubs. Hhmm...

It's my considered opinion that Howe will not be joining us.

According to tonight's Bournemouth Echo he'll be making his mind up over the weekend. Fingers crossed he'll join us.

The crowd is outstanding, and especially with the penalty after 44 minutes it was clear when we came out after half-time the welcome would be pretty loud and not too friendly. Crystal Palace wanted to strike back, so that was all clear. This is a wonderful place to play football - Jurgen Klopp
