Yup that is my complaint. Boris wanted to focus on the high risk areas "mayor can't" got his way probably because he doesn't want people asking questions about why south of the river it is lower. So we are all stuffed. Surely if you don't have the same restriction across London then those that live in, say Ealing will just travel to Hammersmith to go out, then spread it further, so unless you prevent people travelling around London it's all got to be the same hasn't it.

But they are not being prevented from travelling by Tier 2. I thought targetted restrictions were supposed to be well targetted, including large parts of London that are low risk isn't.

Yes I’ve spoken to an oldish lady, maybe late 60’s who got bad swelling in both eyes and glandular fever type symptoms. Didn’t need to go to hospital. Reckons she got it from an oldish man, age I’m not aware of either, sneezing near her on a high street in West Wickham in April I think it was.

Yep, very much same here. I've had mates and colleagues around my age (early 30s)and otherwise fit and healthy who had it in March and are still suffering from side effects 6 months later. Even those fully recovered have said it was the worst experience of their lives. I know it's extremely unlikely to kill me, but at the same time I'd rather not risk having it if I can take sensible precautions to avoid it. If that means wearing a mask and not going to the pub/out for dinner a little less for a year of my life then so be it. Thats illnesses for you and it’s a shock if you’re fit an never had one. That’s a sensible choice of yours but it should be your choice and not a government diktat destroying businesses and livelihoods. Nobody has any right to do that, well at least they didn’t before this absurdity.

Will the new restrictions cover every London Borough? In spring/summer Croydon was pretty much similar to inner London on reported cases. Sutton was in between Croydon and Tandridge, which isn’t the best gauge for anyone anywhere in Tandridge. Can’t remember Bromley. Probably similar to Sutton. I expect it’ll just be blanket of London boroughs all the way down to Coulsdon and Whyteleafe.

In Boris we trust peoples, in Boris we trust! Problem is Keira could be worse. Oh Andy burnham doesn’t want Manchester in high lockdown but he said before that he backs Keira’s national lockdown. What a joke.

True. But it’s too late now. And actually now it’s still just delaying the inevitable, despite what people try to claim.
