Well, Adaramola and Hannam seemed to be destined for the first team squad but I don’t know what’s happened to their progress. I know Hannam’s loan with Bromley is finished and Adaramola was recalled from Coventry due to a lack of involvement.

At the time I defended Tayo pointing out the rumours that Coventry was a dysfunctional club and that Mark Robbins had not wanted him. However in that case he should have come back here and showed Robbins he was wrong.

His lack of decent performances since seems to indicate Robbins was correct.

Next year will be a big season for him if he isn't knocking on the door of the first team then I don't think he's a PL player.

They're both young players still with big futures. Perhaps Ademerola's confidence has been dented by a bad experience at Coventry but a sign of real quality is bouncing back from bad times? I hope he can pull things around

Dont you realize, everybody at our club gets worse not better.

To be honest I never understood why Bromley was ever considered a suitable loan location for Hannam. I thought he looked decent whenever I saw him play, but as you say, there seems to be little individual improvement amongst players at our club. Perhaps we are being harsh, but you have to say Eze, Olise, Edouard, Mateta have all gone backwards a bit in the last year.

I would argue only Eze has gone back a bit. Olise's end product is improving - and his work rate. He is turning into the player we look to to make something happen, albeit I still think he has more to give (he already has the same amount of goal contributions as last season with less minutes on the pitch).

To my mind Edouard and Mateta haven't gone forwards or backwards, although the bar is quite low. I think Eze will show improvement in games where we have more of the ball, as he does seem to disappear against the bigger clubs. The one player who I do think has gone backwards is Mitchell with teams seemingly regularly targeting his side of the pitch, but I wonder if that is to do with him constantly picking up niggling injuries?

First sentence, interested to know why you think that. Second sentence, what is Vieira’s style of play because I don’t see a pattern of play at all? I see a confused manager chopping and changing tactics week in week out desperately searching for a formation and a team that will produce the goods. We have played with 3 or 4 different set ups this season utilising virtually every player available and unsurprisingly there is no consistency to our play.

I see zero correlation between Viera’s Palace side and Arteta’s Arsenal team other than both played for Arsenal in the past.

Firstly, I think the reason we won't go down is because we will not lose every game left, we will most likely get 41 or more points, as we have every season since we came up in 2013.

Secondly, every team below us will not (cannot) win every game left. We are 12th. It is highly unlikely that six teams can pass us (yeah, yeah, Oldham '93 blah blah...). It's a black swan event.

As for Vieira's style of play, what do you want, the same plan A and no plan B that was whined about when Hodgson was here. We have mostly played ok, if not well against teams above us, but we can't approach each game the same. We need to chop and change with each game, especially as we have had injuries and suspensions.

As for the comparisson to Arteta, it's about giving time to adjust and adapt the team to the new style of the manager, not who is in the team. Half our squad (maybe more) are still stuck in the defend at all costs mentality that we, and they, have had to endure since we were promoted.

Keep swapping managers....see Watford amongst others.

This season the battle to avoid relegation is massive and there are no teams cast a drift when normally 1 maybe 2 might be off the pace. For this reason and the standard of teams in the league this year i think the points needed to survive might be higher than in previous years.

No player has improved, some the same, others backwards.

I do not agree with continually changing Managers but Viera fails to learn from his mistakes and he is reactive not proactive - bad managerial traits.
I disagree with you on other points currently.
We are right in it and I cannot see where our next points will come from.
We look frail and lacking in confidence as well.
Finally - we look more like a Hodgson team as the games continue.

Hodgson teams were always well drilled and organized but boring

Absolutely spot on mate

We have a bit of a gap between Palace and the bottom three, but this could slip away with a few more losses. We're in a perilous position, and ou pr own form has to improve dramatically. In another couple of weeks Wilf should be starting, which should make a difference and Lokonga and Ahamada should be providing more midfield energy and solidity. The same with Anderson. This is a long winded way of saying I think we'll stay up, but it could go down to the last couple of games..

If Schlupp and Ayew pick up injuries then we're doomed, PV will have to come up with a Plan C.
