If we stay up and if the ULTRAS return next season behind the goal then we will have amongst the loudest ground in London.

I was ill so couldn’t go so I watched it on telly. Our fans were brilliant made so much noise and the commentators kept commenting on us too. To be fair Spurs fans were loud too. From block C in the Holmesdale it is was poor sadly, apart from the 10 mins before half time. As for the Spurs fans, it certainly didn’t carry to the Holmesdale until after they scored. At least there are quieter fans than ours which is a positive! If our other fans could step up, the HF wouldn’t be missed. As for the step in drummer, fair play for giving it a go, however needs to get some variety and be more persistent. Decent performance yesterday considering no Wilf. Didn’t deserve to lose.

How is this still a thread ?? Why are we at the beck n call for less than 100 chavs? We all need to get behind the team n get on our feet n shout loud for palace As real supporters let’s not rely on a few let’s get up n at em ! Theres a lot of real good ‘family’ proper supporters at this club I’m sure we can pull the atmosphere around without the need of a few immature divas Please don’t refer to them as ‘ultras’ ‘Ultras ‘ are committed and passionate fans who stick with their team through thick or thin Take up my challenge n show yourselves again next game if you think you can sing loud enough R.I.P dear Staffie thoughts with you this day of remembrance Coyp Edited by timbob (11 Nov 2018 8.27pm)

No. The club is creating a singing section. The club are making a change to quadruple (???) the amount of singers, hoping it will have a knock on effect to the rest of the stand. Its a progressive change, it's a new initiative. People are having to move and lets all hope they get looked after, I know I wouldn't be happy of course, but in big changes people will be affected. Edited by Dean_CPFC (10 Nov 2018 12.36pm) And none of those were fair and all of them sadly ended up with some long term supporters/Season Ticket holders not coming to games anymore. It's not being moved out of my seat to create a singing section that makes me angry. That'd be a bit annoying but I'd get it. It's being moved from one of the best views in the Lower Holmesdale (because, you know, I go to watch the football) to what is undoubtedly going to be a worse view because all the other decent seats are already taken. And for some around me, those who have sat in the same seats for 20 years and have a community around them, they are now older, more vulnerable, less good and coping with change, and have said that they will probably now just stop coming. So sad. And no, they are NOT being looked after by the club.

If anyone wants it please pm me.

I sit Block X of the Arthur and I will agree the atmosphere first half was a big improvement, I think the "Roy Hodgsons Reg & Blue Army" chant lasted a good 20mins getting louder each loop. Though the singing died off second half, even more so after the goal.

And I have lost no argument, the ONLY thing I keep reading is "it's not fair" from apparently grown men about having to move seats FFS get a grip. It reads like an episode of Kevin and Perry on Harry Enfield and chums. Furthermore any one who insinuates the atmosphere hasn't changed since the HF flounced is in utter denial, and for the record It pains me to have say this AGAIN (as I have clearly stated I don't agree with the petulant manner in which they flounced.) I do not agree with the HF's actions, but to say the atmosphere has not been affected is total and utter bulls***. This is a football forum dedicated to all things Crystal Palace and not many people (including myself) wish to debate news and politics here Wrong again I'm afraid, have a look across the top of the website when you log in, you will see a number of tabs including ones on news and politics, general talk and Gold talk. I merely pointed out that a thread on child abuse got less interest than this one (and continues to do so) which to me speaks volumes about peoples priorities, and how self indulgent those priorities have become, when a thread on having to move seats in a football ground, gets more hit/replies/interest (however you wish to express it) than a thread on the alarming figures in relation to the rise in child abuse and the organised gangs we now have perpetrating it. It was a comparison to hopefully show that I think the whole thing (the singing section) is being taken way way way to seriously by some when there are much much more serious issues at hand. But fine with me if you want to ignore it, as I said speaks volumes. The amount of indignation being flung about is utterly laughable, and I'm the one being called pathetic ??? youliterally couldn't make it up.
