Let's not forget ge made some decent saves going low down to shots from not that far out but he will be disappointed with the De Bruyne goal.Yet another player who was given far too much space as was Kompany and Silva and there were question marks about the defending for the other goals as well.Hennessey wasn't given much protection at all.

It's pretty bloody hard not to give them space on that pitch. It's friggin massive. Surely that's an unfair advantage?

Not Hennessy biggest fan but Ben foster has 6 clean sheets compared to Hennessy who also has 6 clean sheets in 27 games this season.

Someone has said to me that he saw something about us being liked with 'Daniel Bentley' of Brentford. In the past I had heard about him being rated highly and I think Brentford paid £700,000 for him. I have seen him a few times and every time he has been rather less than impressive to the extent I have been somewhat agog at the high ratings.That said I think he is only early 20s, which is a 'Baby' for a goalkeeper so there is plenty of time for him to live up to his star billing.All I will say is that he is very good at saving penalties.

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |
